They take care of my lovely creature. That's good enough for me.

7-year update:

The staff here have always been kind and helpful. They were even able to provide services during COVID-19 lockdowns.

I always appreciate interacting with the front desk and the vet staff.

Dr. Rana was great! During a sad time, he kindly and thoroughly walked us through all the possible conditions our Siberian Husky had. The news was bad, but grateful for his kindness and care.
The office staff was sensitive too.

We have been taking our dogs and cat to Dr. Rana for the last 5 years. Dr. Rana and his staff have always been amazing with us and our fur babies. I have had many vets in the past 12+ years, but he has been the best by far. He has always been honest and up front about each situation. I tend to ask a lot of questions, he has always been patient and answered all my questions without making me feel silly or wrong for asking the questions. The vet techs and receptionist are the best! I trust and appreciate all of them. We recently had to put our oldest dog down. If you have ever had to put a pet down you understand how difficult that is. It was unexpected and quick. They didn’t hesitate to to go above and beyond to make time and accommodate our needs and make us feel as comfortable as possible. They were all super gently and loving with our dog. If your looking for a professional vet and great team I would highly recommend Orange Hill Vet. They are fair with their prices and they don’t try to sell you on things that your pet really doesn’t need.

Dr. Rana Roxy has been providing veterinarian services for our dog since his adoption in 2017. The veterinarian services have been both good and not so good. I believe that Dr. Rana is a very good vet. I have no complaints regarding his capabilities or service. However, most of the services at Orange Hill Veterinarian Hospital are handled by his technical staff who don't always provide adequate services, if at all.

The not so good starts with his receptionist. When you enter the hospital, the very first person that you encounter is the receptionist. The first impression I got was that she doesn't really care about the clients or the company or the services that the company provides. The receptionist represents the company as much as the owner/veterinarian and his technical staff do. A poorly trained receptionist can significantly impact client relationships and overall business revenues. That's a fact.

Having owned a business employing over 70 people, we made it a point to only hire people who understood that they represented the company with existing clients to future clients from an image/marketing standpoint. That is, all employees must always show an interest in the company's success as a business by being courteous and helpful at all times.

We board our dog on occasion at a facility just a block away. Recently, we were told that our dog had a severe ear infection - one of the worst that they had ever seen and that we should seek veterinary services to address the issue. We immediately took our dog to Orange Hill for examination. The hospital was empty - no one in the parking lot or in the waiting area. We explained why we were there and asked if the vet could examine our dog. The very fist comment from the receptionist was "do you have an appointment?". My response was that we just explained why we were here and that we didn't have an appointment, but asked if the vet was available. The receptionist continued with the her line of questioning stating that "you really need for an appointment". My response was, "there's no one here and the vet is available - can we see the vet?" She finally got up from her seat and asked the vet. The point is that were ultimately able to see the vet but only after an extensive confrontation with the receptionist.

Lastly, there are a number of services that Orange Hill Veterinarian Hospital also provides including grooming, teeth cleaning, and nail trimming. We dropped our dog off to have these all of these services provided only to receive a phone call 30 minutes later stating that they could not provide these services because the dog would growl at the technicians. So, we took the dog to House of Paws a block away who have provided these from that very day with absolutely no issues at all. Based on this experience, it would appear that the staff members at Orange Hill Veterinarian Hospital are both untrained and/or inexperienced.

Based these experiences, we have decided to discontinue services of Orange Hill Veterinarian Hospital.

Dr. Rana is really wonderful, educated, thoughtful and caring. I was sending my dog to a different veterinarian before covid and I am so glad I made the switch. They don't refuse providing prescriptions for online ordering. The other vet made me buy medication from his office and I always left feeling ripped off. This place is the complete opposite! Dr. Rana provided me with great information to care for my dog and consider the options.

Does not care about animals, only money. Delayed emergency test results. Returned my dog after 8 hour observation that couldn’t suddenly stand, and Dr. Rana never spoke to me and because they carried her out to my car, I didn’t notice til I returned home. When I called, Dr. Rana, he said he did notice it and forgot to mention it. I had paid them to observe her and advise me! And he forgot to mention that my dog that walked in 8 hours earlier could no longer stand, and they way they carried her out to my car looking back they were covering up her inability to walk. My dog died shortly after at only 8 years old from a treatable illness that was immediately diagnosed when we went to another vet who took her inability to stand very seriously.
