My son cracked his head and they made him sit in the waiting room for a half an hour. His dad took him while I was home with my other kids. I called the ER and said he needs to be seen RIGHT AWAY HE hit his head really hard and the front desk sighed and hung up on me. I didnt cuss, I wasn't disrespectful. Update- it's been 40 mins now. My son is 8 years old and is dizzy, which they are aware of and still are not doing anything. I will be speaking to my attorney tomorrow. It's empty, nobody is going in or out.
DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!!!!

Big shout out to Nurse Michelle, Dr Maloney, the paramedic student, & xray tech that took excellent care of both my husband and myself this past Saturday. Everyone was so kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. We were transported here after being involved in a motorcycle accident. Nurse Michelle was a total rock star from start to finish. She provided excellent patient care and made sure I was as comfortable as possible given the circumstances. We were in and out of there in about 3 hours from intake to discharge, with a disc in hand for my broken ankle for followup care. Thank you guys so much for being there for us! I'll be back to do a cartwheel as promised!

If only -100 was an option. I took my mom twice and both times were a joke. The second time we walked out. I had helped an old lady who could barely walk, barely breath. I had to wave nurse to come and help. Not that they did help. The lady almost fell to the floor had I not had a hold of her. They didn't even move an inch to help her. She had said that she had been waiting there since 11am. I helped her out at 5pm. I instantly took my mom who was having low blood pressure, having a hard time breathing and could barely walk on her own. Went to mendota hospital and waited 20min. Will NOT be returning to Peru hospital.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. We just left the lab at this hospital and it was hands down the WORST experience I’ve ever had with any “medical professionals” in my life. We took our almost 3-year-old autistic son in for bloodwork. The nurse said that she could not find a vein and we said if she couldn’t find one that we would just come back a different day Because we didn’t want him traumatized with hospitals or doctors. She then stuck the needle in our son’s arm and went on a fishing exploration, and I told her OK we are done. You are hurting him, and this is not working. She looked at me pull the needle out of my son’s arm Looked at me dead in my eyes again, walked out of the room without saying a single word.

Was here in the er sat and waited for a hr no cars In parking lot didn’t look busy . The dr did take care of me tho now I’m back here doing a ct and once again sitting here waiting my apt was at 8 am it is now 8:30!! I have another dr apt I have to be at u guys expected us to be on time but u guys can’t !! I asked to speak to a manager and was told that they didn’t have any here they’d transfer me to Ottawa I was sent to voicemail !! At this point u mise well shut this hospital back down because this is ridiculous we need to compensated for our time !! Like I’m beyond furious and I want a complaint filed !! Let’s talk about how the nurse came in here too with a stank attuide too !!

Wait times are ridiculous to see someone in the emergency room. You’ll spend half your day waiting to get out. Understaffed facility and it’s unfortunate this is an issue. Doctors are nice but management needs to do better it’s an embarrassment to our community.

They are very under staffed and the doctors I’ve encountered doesn’t listen and prejudge you when they look at you, makes me feel very uncomfortable, don’t like going there at all!!

The reason why I rated them a one star is because when me and my uncle went there to get cooled off and the staff was saying that they can only give water or ice to the emergency room patients only and not to the other people that came to get cooled off.
