Absolutely abysmal experience. I explained to the lady over the phone I would prefer to have her put down outside, and not in a white room with mold and white LED lights shining down. I was told it was perfectly fine and they've done it before and understand the desire. The day of the appointment comes and I'm told the front staff lied and they don't offer that service. I explained to the staff what I was told and that my pet is suffering from cancer, choking on bile and sputum, and needs to be put down in a place where I, in her position, would want to go. Next thing I know, a grey-haired-bee-hive-overweight-troglodyte walks out and starts yelling at me saying they won't put my pet down outside. Asking "why the hell does it even matter? it's an animal.", " Why do you care so much about this?". This non-loving, insufferable, most-likely divorced, elderly and decrypted 60 year old 'woman' kept yelling. They're lucky I'm not the person I use to be, as I would have easily put this woman in her place and ripped her a new one.

Only positive interaction was with the veterinarian who was apologetic.

Don't come here if you love your animal and you want the best care for them.

Avoid the grey-haired-unlovable-insufferable-shrek 'woman' at all cost.

My wife walked in with a dog, dying in her arms and all they wanted to know is, did she have the money to cover the cost, our dog died in her arms because of their greed. They didn't care about our dog...

Called this office to get our 11 month old puppy checked out, she had started throwing up , lost color on tongue/ nose and had heavy breathing. Receptionist said vet was on his way out the door and they couldn't see our puppy. If we wanted to come back after lunch and wait , we might work us in. I told her this was an emergency, that didn't matter. Then she started giving me names of vets around Baxley that we could call. They were more concerned with eating than caring for the animals they are in business for. Not a place to call if you don't have an account with them, are from out of state, and if it's an emergency.

The staff, vet techs, Dr Padgett, Dr Hart are all amazing! Take time to answer questions, and concerns. Everyone there loves, and truly cares about animals. The care my animals receive is always wonderful! I've had a cherry removed from a dog's eye, and neutered. Dr Padgett did a great job. Had a emergency C-section with spay with serious complications. Vet, and techs did everything they could way after business hours. The severity of complications unfortunately my dog passed. The vet, staff were all very companionate, and comforted me. Put my girl in a room so I could say goodbye in private. Fit me in on short notice. Just an great veterinarian office all around! Thank you all for the care, and love you give my fur babies!

I love Dr.Lewis and the staff at Padgett Animal Hospital. They are great with my pets. They are so compassionate. My friend had a Pug, they took care of with Diabetes. Could not ask for better service!
