Subject: Feedback on Recent Visit to Palm Bluff Veterinary Hospital

Dear Dr. Shahbazian

I’m reaching out to share my recent experience at your clinic, particularly during what was one of the most difficult moments for my family and me—saying goodbye to our beloved dog. First, I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Shahbazian for his compassion and professionalism. His care and understanding provided some comfort during an incredibly emotional time.

However, I was deeply hurt and disappointed by the actions of one of your veterinary technicians. During our visit, this individual entered the room unprompted to voice their opinion that we “hadn’t done enough” to care for our dog. I want to emphasize that we have poured our hearts and resources into his health over the years, spending upwards of $10,000 trying to address his chronic health issues since he was a puppy. For someone to make such an unfounded and insensitive remark during an already devastating moment was not only inappropriate but incredibly hurtful.

I’m sharing this feedback because I believe that moments like this require empathy and compassion from every team member. While I greatly appreciate the care and dedication your clinic has shown over the years, I hope steps can be taken to ensure that no other family has to experience such additional pain during a time of loss.

I want to say this place is horrible, so I don't have to share him, but that would be a downright lie. Dr. Shabazian (I think I spelled that right), the clinic's owner, is an extraordinary vet. Our family has been going to him for all of our pet needs and preventative care for over 35 years...back when his office was off Escalon and Blackstone. He is kind and considerate and goes above and beyond for his patients and their owners. He has a vast wealth of knowledge that makes him a remarkable vet. He has the dog whisperer touch, in my opinion. He is priced extremely fair and works with you when necessary. If you have a pet you want to ensure is cared for correctly now and in the future, I would recommend Palm Bluff Veterinary Hospital. Cheers to the man keeping our dogs healthy, happy, and cozy!

Absolutely perfect ? I highly recommend this veterinarian office. Everyone was so polite and helpful. I took in a foster kitten to have his leg amputated. They did such a great job. The incision and stitches were so neat and clean. We had no issues during his healing process.

My dogs have been coming here since I was a kid. This vet is still one of the best in town and Dr. Shahbazian is the nicest person. That being said, they are on the more expensive end of veterinary care. However, the price is well worth it when these doctors take the time to check in with you after having to take your pet to the emergency room and truly care about the well being of your furry friends.

We brought a rescue kitten here from Porterville that had been caught in a fan belt it had cut his leg and broken his front leg . The Kirkland Foundation helped us with the cost of X-rays . We had an appointment at 11 am they got us right in . We were greeted by a very nice office staff . Taken right into a room where we met with Stephanie . They weighed the cat took him in right away for an xray and we had results in less than 10 minutes . We have never been to a veterinarian office that treated us so nice and cared so much for the kitty . The best news is his leg will heal he might have a slight limp but will be able to have a normal life . Thank you Kirkland Foundation and Palm Bluff Hospital !

I have used this Vet for about 10 years. They have always been good to me, and even greater care with my pets. Yesterday I thought I had to put my senior cat down, but instead, he is improving rapidly. Thank you to all of you who helped us.
