Palmer Ranch Animal Clinic is wonderful. Dr. Neer and the staff are experienced, thoughtful, compassionate, honest and super helpful. They saved little Mia's life a good handful of years ago when she got into the garbage and was suffering hemmoragic gastroenteritis (sp?). On a couple of occasions when I've called, unsure of whether or not I needed to bring Mia in, Dr. Neer has called me back personally to help answer my questions and often told me I don't need to bring her. Over the years (and after some experiences feeling a little taken advantage of by some vets) I've really grown to feel that I can count on them, not just when Mia needs a checkup or has an issue, but as a resource when I'm not sure what to do. Being on a budget doesn't mean I won't spend money on my baby when she needs it, but I don't want to spend a few hundred dollars unnecessarily either. I really appreciate being able to talk to them about what's going on before deciding to schedule an appointment. They helped my parents Havanese Toby (born with a heart issue that would have meant the breeder probably would have euthanized him) live well over 10 happy years without surgery. Thank you from me, Mia and the family!

I have been going here for years, it’s hit or miss for me. The doctors are great.. the front desk not so much. They miss notes for appointments, this has happened to me multiple times.
I have gone in with in mind X-rays we’re going to be done, to be told that’s wasn’t in the notes and couldn’t do them that day. That was literally the whole point of the visit…
Unfortunately I think that was our last visit

A+. I found out that Palmer Ranch helps feral cats. I want to give my business to people like them. I went there with my 2 kitties and they were awesome. My oldest (6) wheezed since I got her (rescue). Other vets could not tell me why. Head infection and antibiotic shot. Week later no wheezing! Also, I am impressed with them calling multiple times with follow up calls. EVERYONE there was awesome. Highly recommend!

Dr. Retean is the best veterinarian I've ever had, along with the other vets and staff Palmer Ranch. She truly cares for her patients their owners. She has helped me through my grief of the loss of several pets (family members to me) and she has shared in my joy of new additions to my family.
Today she went above and beyond in her concern for my little girl. While I was there and then the phone calls to follow up on a potential problem.
The last phone call was made in time for me to bring my girl back in before they closed if I felt it necessary.
