Pay close attention to your billing! After being referred to a Parkview Neurologist, she asked me to try Parkviews pain management team over my current p.m. and wrote me a script for a different pain med. which could break my pain contract. The new pain specialist seemed really knowledgable, asked all the right questions, but then asked me to go for a physical therapy evaluation. After explaining my financial situation and that my insurance would only pay for an office visit I was assured that this was a visit only. She was just "checking off the boxes" and if there was any therapy I could do it at home. WRONG. I was billed over $600. I was billed for 15 minutes of p.t I didn't receive and 15 minutes of exercise I also didn't receive. When I called to dispute this I was told they would look into it and take care of it. In the meantime I called like I was told to do to have the initial dose of the new medicine increased, and was told they would discuss that at my next appt. in 5 weeks. When I asked what I was supposed to do until then they said I could go back to my prior pain management meds. Their way of taking care of my billing issue was to change the wording and remove the itemized 30 minutes on the bill. Same total. I finally got it dropped thru their advocate but they still got me because they bill everything thru the hospital so they can charge more. So my $30 co-pay cost me $252. They win no matter what, gotta pay for that fancy new hospital somehow, now I know how. I'll give them 1 star because I only waited 20 minutes for my appt.

I was in the ER recently with a very bad case of the stomach flu. I had the best doctor I have seen in a long time. She walked in obviously already having reviewed my health history, which is extensive. She was also wearing a mask, which I really appreciate because my immune system is very compromised. I was impressed with her knowledge and bedside manner. I have been to this hospitals ER, received cancer treatment, and saw a diabetes nurse specialist for instructions and education regarding a new CGM. I have always gotten very kind and compassionate care.

I took my 2 week old baby into the ER Friday 1/24/25 at 11:30pm within 20mins of being seen the doctor came in and threatened DCS because I did not want to do a rectal temp on my 2 week old I asked for another way of doing a temperature as I knew my baby wasn’t running a fever. He told me this is what we are going to do and if you aren’t OK with it I will call DCS….Long story short I contacted Warsaw police department after having of been there for HOURS and told the officer the threats and harassment this doctor continually made towards me and I asked if I could leave and take my baby to KCH because I was very uncomfortable with the threats. The police officer told me that I could leave and if the doctor tried to keep me there that it would be criminal confinement. Before leaving I notified the nurse that I was leaving and that I’ve contacted Warsaw police department and the doctor called DCS. DCS showed up at KCH. I’ve never delt with DCS and to deal with it because I took my baby to the ER is outrageous. I’ve contacted patient’s advocate and I will be doing more. The doctor that made several DCS threats towards me is ERIC WALORSKI.

Do not get imaging done here! They are completely dishonest! They do not tell you when they schedule you because they only want your money and so not care about you as a patient, instead of a normal 1/2 day turn around time for a ct scan they are 9-10 days to read it!!! That’s insane! They could at least tell you that when scheduling it and see if you still want to get it done or go somewhere else but no they are greedy and want what’s best for them not the patient! I never would have had my ct done at parkview had I know this before hand!

I've been really happy with Parkview's treatment of me, as a patient, but something very strange happened recently. I was informed, that as my child will turn 14 soon, I will no longer have access to the medical records or be able to call in for medications for my child. AND, my child will need to gain access to the parkview mychart program, in order for them to see their own medical information. THIS does not make any sense, as my child is not that responsible and is not turning 18, and I will continue to be accountable for any of the actions taken by my child. This seems like a very underhanded thing to do to a parent, and certainly to a child. It also opens the path for a child to start to hide things from the parent, who will be financially responsible for that child and for the child's medical bills. What is going on in Indiana?

My wife had surgery on her hand and the hospital looked amazing / clean and new. But the nurses tried to take her blood and she looked like a pin cushion with a bunch of black and blue marks all over her arm.

My wife could hear the staff, talking crap about the doctor right before her surgery just curtain at the nurses station.

So she finally had her surgery and was sent home and we were worried because her finger was still numb, so she call the doctor. He was very dismissive to our concerns like his after hours life was more important. We finally did get the conclusion we needed but this review helps someone else who goes to this hospital.

My daughter keeps sticking stuff up her nose and went to the ER for it Sunday night. There were a bunch of girls working that were really good with Paislie along with a nurse named Megan that I assume was working 3rd shift in the ER. My daughter LOVED them, especially Megan. Thank you Meg for holding my daughter's hand when she was a little nervous!!

My 4 year old was admitted with pneumonia and her RN, Hunter, was absolutely amazing. The whole staff was great and very dedicated.
