Had a great experience in the ER, did not hesitate to run numerous tests to find the problem, I would highly recommend this place. Also been here on numerous occasions. Thank you to the great caring staff, especially in the ER. All around great hospital in this area. I will keep coming back.

I work in an environment that requires safety boots, and my workplace is not very clean, so I often get dirty within just a couple of hours. One night, I became sick with a severe headache and double vision, so I went to the ER.

While there, a nurse approached me and asked for a urine sample. When I asked why, she said it was ordered by the doctor. I provided the sample, and about 15 minutes later, I received a notification in my chart about new results. When I checked, I saw that the doctor had ordered a drug screen.

I have no idea why this was done, but I believe the doctor judged me based on my dirty clothes and boots, assuming I was a drug addict. This was humiliating, especially as someone who has never smoked or drank in their entire life.

In conclusion, my experience with the ER, especially the night shift, was incredibly rude and unprofessional.

I have been in the medical field for almost 40 years and I have never ever seen such unprofessional and uncaring this in an ER that I had witnessed this past Saturday the 28th I was on and my sister was on a bus tour coming from Ohio and we was in Shipshewana and had to have my sister who has a history of stroke, hypertension, and diabetes transferred to this hospital and with the lack of empathy and respect for her and uncaring I have I’m all I cannot believe such awful care that she received several times when they come to put her back from being on the Porter pot, they did not put her up her rails on her bed she is has residual effects from her stroke 10 years ago and she cannot get to the call light which is on the floor because the rails was not put up. I had to put them up three times each time that they came to put her back into bed, she also was transferred to Parkview Hospital in ft Wayne which she did get excellent care and found out that she did have a mini heart attack along with a mini stroke and was never given anything at La Grange to help prevent either one of these was told she was supposed to be started on a heparin drip at La Grange and never started which could’ve helped with her mild heart attack if they would’ve started it I am so so upset with the lack of care that she got here but very grateful for the care that she got at ft Wayne Parkview Hospital also, might I add I was in the ER with my sister all this time and there is no transportation no public transportation and I was on a bus tour so I had no transportation so when they transferred her at 3 o’clock in the morning to parkview hospital in ft Wayne I was told I’m sorry we don’t have anything to help you other than a list of names that they could give me that they have people coming to help the Amish there I said I can’t even rent a car they was. They was really rude about it and finally and thankful to the local sheriffs department that took me back to the hotel the nurses uncaring and unprofessional.

My experiance in the emergency room with Dr Ahmed was wonderful I'm a transplant patient so anytime I go to a emergency room they have to call my transplant center.he was very patient in waiting for there return call,the nurses and everyone took very good care of me

I received and ambulance bill for $4000 from them and my house is less then 3 miles away from the hospital. If I could leave negative stars I would. On top of being charged that much for that I was charged over 10000 at the hospital.

Worst hospital in the whole entire world. My daughter is only two months old and has been to the ER numerous of times and it’s the closest hospital we live by and every single time they have just pushed it off and not done anything about the problem we’ve had to go to a different hospital because they don’t do anything and the staff there is rude and disrespectful one even went as far as telling me I took my daughter to the ER too many times for being how young she is I would not recommend this hospital at all if I could give them zero stars, I would my daughter actually needed a whole procedure done that they just told me not to worry about it. Everything was fine and that she was perfectly okay so not only did they push it off every single time. My daughter had a broken collarbone and needed a procedure on her bellybutton button And they pushed off both scenarios like there was nothing wrong with her So they made my daughter sit in pain just because they didn’t want to do their jobs every single time all they have done is check to make sure her oxygen level was okay and then they sent us on our way. Words can’t even describe how Disappointed I am with this hospital please do not take your children there Just make the drive to somewhere else because they’ll push your problems to the side because all they want is the paycheck and to go home

One of the worse so called hospitals I’ve ever been too. My son is in here. Trying him like a criminal. But While we were waiting. A gentleman ran in looking for his dad that was having a heart attach and they did have him on the system at all. I would definitely choose another hospital to go too.

I am pleased with how the seven staff members treated my partner when she was in ER on Thanksgiving 2022.
The speed in which she was checked in, the time it took to get her evaluated and treated was remarkable.
We were quite stressed and the staff helped calm us down with their positive attitudes and bedside manner. These people were kind, gentle, good listeners and the bit of their timely humor made a big difference in relieving my partner's discomfort as well as mine.
