I have been going to Parkway Pet Clinic for many years with both dogs and cats. They really care about their treatments and they NEVER order unnecessary expensive tests like I have encountered at other locations. I feel good about the care they provide and the costs they charge for those services. Highly recommended !!!

Came for vaccines for my puppy but they were closed despite always having them on Sundays between 1-2pm. They also don’t answer the phone. Usually they do a great job. Not sure what’s going on

I am a little late on posting this but I wanted to say thank you to parkway Clinic. I have been taking my cat here since she was a kitten. She is now 3 and a helion to deal with! Unfortunately I have to choose to sedate her to get stuff done because shes a nightmare! The vets and staff were so calm with the situation and were able to get everything done I needed for her to get caught up on vaccinations and other stuff. My cat got a little nauseated from sedation and I was concerned leaving but they gave her nausea injections that just didnt kick in, in time. The next day Janika (front desk) called me when they were off that day to ask if my cat was okay. Was very sweet! Thank you for all your help. Zoey is back to herself happy and playful(only around me). haha

< Back Parkway Pet Clinic Q Search reviews Do not go here! I regularly took my dogs there to Dr. Bill Henderson in the 1980's and 1990's and further. He was a wonderful man and he was honest and good. The business card says "The Henderson Way: Up Front, Honest Care At Affordable Prices. Now that Dr. Bill is gone, the place is anything but that and owned by his non/vet daughter. We took our dog there for a checkup due to our regular vets being booked. At first all seemed fine though the building is run down inside, but it smelled clean. To be fair, it IS an old business. The front desk was kind. However, what was BAD after our 15 minute wait in the exam room was THE VET. I have owned dogs (24) over 44 years and have seen many vets and have been in the dog sport world. All of my dogs have lived good long lives though have seen vets quite often. This was the worst visit ever with a vet. We never saw a vet assistant that checked the dog's temperature. The front desk seems to be the one screening for why we were there. The vet, Treasure Shultz, came in and began examining the dog and bluntly saying "she has this, she has this, she has this....". l asked her a question that she never answered and every time my dog pulled away from her she did the Caesar Milan "ssssht" noise at her. I told her it was hard for me to bend over to help her due to my own health (she had NO assistant), and she did not even acknowledge that I spoke. She then stood up from my dog and said bluntly "we are going to do this, we are going to this, and this, and this, and this." She never explained which medicine she would give. Why she was choosing to this. I asked her which medicine she was giving and told her I did not wish her to treat my dog with that particular flea prevention. She never even explained any of the medicines and procedures she was doing and spoke very coldly with disdain especially after I spoke up about explaining and which meds she was planning to use which she had explained. She left the office and curtly said she would have the front desk write up an estimate. By the way, she erote everything on paper and not on a computer like many vets do today. She never appeared again and seemed miffed even though she had the bedside manner and personality of a rock. We sat in the exam room for another 15 minutes waiting for the estimate. My husband and I were shocked at how we had just been treated and I was angry since I have had the most experience with vets. We wanted to leave because we were so unhappy. However, we waited for the office personnel to bring in the estimate which was anything but affordable for what the situation was. Plus, there were charges for things such as a fecal and a rabies shot even though we had just filled out paperwork showing it was all up to date. (We did show them the rabies certificate and it was scratched off the estimate.) The office visit was the same price if not more than some places, by the way. In the end, we paid the office visit price and LEFT! We called our regular established vet again to make plans for another date and they were kind enough to fit us in because that's how GOOD they are. They did the same exam and fixed ALL of the problems the dog had that Parkway Pet had listed without bloodwork, anesthesia and extra charges for 60% less than Parkway Pet’s inflated estimate. And my regular vet office was professional, caring, high tech, clean. In their 60% less price l even received an OTC product, time and explanation, compassion for my dog as well as my health, and the procedures needed were completed. And we are DONE WITH EVER GOING TO Parkway Pet. Dr. Bill Henderson would be so disappointed in his business that he built! Update: I am not comparing my service to the way that Dr. Bill operated his business, but to ALL of the vets that I have worked with over 40 years. What I am used to is personable vets who explain options/care needed as in flea preventative options. I also do not take my dogs to big corp vets as you assumed. She is also busy, short staffed and not price gouging.

They have happily and gracefully cared for both of my dogs (Anubis now passed and Apollo). I have gone to them for vaccinations, the puppy wellness program, neutering, bladder stone removal, and general allergies. They are great! I live in San Diego and don't mind the drive out because they are always helpful and take care of my little guys ♥️ 100% would recommend.

I took my 5.5 month old puppy here to be spayed. The office is clean and all of the staff was nice & helpful. The cost for the procedure was less than half of what I was quoted at other veterinary offices. They didn’t try to upsell me on anything my puppy didn’t need. My puppy is doing great. I highly recommend this veterinary office! Thank you Parkway Pet Clinic!

Unreliable, not responsive, and untruthful. Two appointments for my cat were canceled same day due to other emergencies. They did not respond to Petco first request for prescription food confirmation and did not tell the truth about it. They denied the second request and refused to approve the prescription temporarily until I could make arrangements with another vet.
