I cannot say enough great things about Partners Animal Hospital West Loop! My regular vet was closed, and my cat had a non-emergency injury that needed immediate attention. After calling a few clinics, we found Partners on Google, and they were able to take us in the same day. From the very first phone call, I felt reassured—the staff was incredibly kind and professional, and I was already grateful for their warmth before we even stepped foot in the clinic. When we arrived, we were greeted by Samantha, the sweetest receptionist, who welcomed us and even made my nervous cat feel at ease. She offered coffee and tea (a very welcomed touch!), and to my absolute surprise, my cat accepted a treat from her—a rare event that speaks volumes about their gentle, comforting approach. We were quickly placed into a room where, despite a small wait, they constantly checked on us and made sure we felt cared for and updated.

What really set this clinic apart were the thoughtful little details that added up to such a positive experience. Samantha came in with a welcome bag of treats for my cat and a sign with his name, which felt so personal and touching that it actually overwhelmed me (in the best way). Once we were seen, the vet tech and Dr. Hurley were both fantastic, taking their time to examine my cat thoroughly and gently while answering all of my questions. They never rushed us, and somehow, my usually stressed-out cat remained calm the entire time—I don’t know what kind of magic they have, but it worked! The treatment was done quickly and stress-free, and my cat seemed so comfortable that he didn’t even want to leave the exam room.

If you’re looking for a vet that treats both you and your pet with top-notch care, this is the place. Every single member of the team—Samantha, Dr. Hurley, the vet tech, the kind social media coordinator who checked on us, and the wonderful intern at the front desk—made us feel welcome, valued, and completely at ease. The level of thoughtfulness, professionalism, and compassion they showed was unmatched, and the pricing for the visit was surprisingly reasonable—even less than what I would’ve paid at my regular vet, with even more care provided. We will be returning in two weeks, and I’m confident that Partners Animal Hospital West Loop will become our new regular vet. Thank you for making our day and for showing such genuine love for your patients and their families—you’ve set the bar incredibly high!

I was searching for a new veterinarian because while my previous one was good, they didn’t exactly wow me. As a first-time pet owner, I wanted a clinic that would give me honest recommendations and patiently answer all my questions. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment and asked about parking, the receptionist was incredibly friendly and immediately put me at ease.

When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and offered water, coffee, or tea—a thoughtful gesture I’d never experienced at my previous vet. They promptly took me to a room, so I didn’t have to wait outside. Inside, I was pleasantly surprised to see a personalized sign welcoming Ninah and me, along with a gift bag to take home. (I’m so disappointed I forgot my phone at home and couldn’t take a picture, but I’ll make sure to snap one next time!) The personalized touch made me feel genuinely valued and reassured me that we weren’t just another number to them—they truly care about their patients.

Even though the clinic is a bit far from my house, I’m so glad I made the trip because the care Ninah received was outstanding. It was absolutely worth the drive. The vet tech and Dr. Gerardo Hernandez were amazing. They took their time examining Ninah thoroughly and gently, answered all my questions, and gave me helpful recommendations for her cherry eye. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail were unmatched. To top it off, the cost of the visit was very reasonable, especially considering the exceptional level of care provided.

Thank you for making our experience so wonderful and for showing such genuine care for both pets and their owners. I’m confident Partners Animal Hospital West Loop will now be our go-to vet. You guys are amazing!

Always have a great experience at this vet. The staff and Dr. are very welcoming and are always patient with Lucy when we go, especially since she is very shy. They don’t force you to run tests unless necessary. They are very thorough when explaining possible causes/tests/medications and always follow up a few days after our appointments to see how Lucy is doing and if there have been any changes. Highly recommend!

I’ve brought both of my cats here and have had great experiences all around. They are a “fear free” clinic and treated my older, crankier guy carefully and kept the exam as brief as he could tolerate. Pricing has always been reasonable and the doctors seem to really listen. A welcome addition to the neighborhood!

very friendly staff! Irene and doctor Hernandez were very helpful and attentive when I brought my dog in. they also allowed me to be on the phone with my sister to answer some questions and they were very timely. I appreciated not having to wait past my appointment time. front desk ladies were lovely as well. I highly recommend them!

I had an emergency with Sweetie this morning. She ingested one of those hand warmer packets. My daughter recommended Partners Animal Hospital West Loop. From the initial phone call, until there were helping me out the door, they were to the utmost friendly, compassionate, patient, professional, I can go on. They are also a full service vet and I’ll keep them in mind for Sweetie’s care going forward. Highly recommended! Oh yeah, Sweetie is fine.
