Exceptional experience, especially since we selected them from reading every review published on the web from dozens of emergency vet hospitals. The reviews from
Paws Veterinary Clinic and Premiere Vet Mobile Clinic were all positive and reflected so much appreciation from hundreds of very satisfied pet owners. Dr. Hefter, April, and Lucie all displayed the professionalism and care that you need when your pet is in so much pain and you yourself are in such a vulnerable state. When they presented us the final bill, we were so grateful that we finally found a clinic that didn’t take advantage of us. They were so reasonable. Thank you so so much. Dr. Blake has been wonderful with our animals. He took care of our elderly cat until the end, and was there for the whole family when she passed. He is amazing with our dog Fiona too! He is truly a diamond in the rough of good veterinarians!!!

Blake and his team did a good job on all three of my dogs. Up-to-date on their shots and then my little Yorky needed a bunch of teeth pulled. Fair price, polite, and good customer service and I just set up an appointment for a grooming with them. Highly recommend.

I have lived in South Florida since 2003. During this time I have tried many different Vets. However, none offer the same type of customer service that Plantation Animal Wellness and Surgery does. Dr. Hefter is phenomenal and is always available to take my calls. I have referred everyone to him because of the tremendous care that he has given my dogs. I think going to another vet is doing a disservice to your pet. Dr. Hefter and his staff and are the best and I highly recommend them.

If there could be an additional star rating above the “5 stars” for “Over and Above” then Dr. Hefter and his team at Paws Veterinary Center/Premium Vet Care would earn that honor.
We had pet insurance that we all believed would cover our pet's emergency surgery after receiving a pre-approval submission that amounted to several thousand dollars. When the final bill was submitted to the insurance company with additional related work that was required at the time of the surgery, they only wanted to cover 60%, not 90% as originally offered. Without hesitation nor an appeal from us, Dr. Hefter advocated directly with the insurance company. He took the initiative and won the difference on our behalf. He would have gotten paid either way, from them and from us, but he had compassion for the costs incurred to his clients. So not only did Dr. Hefter take excellent care of our angelic 16 year old baby, during the surgery and after, checking in on her every day afterwards, he also took spectacular care of us. What a find! Worth driving 40 minutes for an exceptional Vet for your exceptional pet!
