Dr. Higgins is the BEST vet in Modesto! We absolutely love this veterinary clinic. Dr. Higgins cares so deeply for each of her clients and so do all the vet techs. I love that this vet genuinely cares about the wellbeing of the pets and does not overcharge you for unnecessary treatments. They do not try to overhangs or take your money, they are here for you and your pets!

I am thoroughly impressed with their great service! As someone who recently relocated from the Bay Area, I had been commuting back for my pets' veterinary care. I'm so happy to have finally found their new doctor here! The staff is warm and welcoming, the facility is impeccably clean, and the services are very reasonably priced. My dog was limping, so I took him to the vet and requested a physical exam, specifically on his paw, due to visible redness and no sign of pain while walking. Despite this, they insisted on an X-ray, which revealed nothing. Only after the X-ray did they perform the physical exam I originally suggested, where they identified the issue. While the staff was respectful and professional, I believe a more streamlined approach would avoid unnecessary procedures and costs.

This place is excellent! Easy to schedule same day appointment.
I was nervous? I'm a new cat owner. My cat was attacked by another cat. I was scared about the process and the payment options.
I walked in. Everything was clean and smelled fresh. Ricky, the manager, was very pleasant. The veterinarian doctor was very knowledgeable and knew what to do right away. His assistant helped put me at ease. Explained everything to me and walked me through care and payment options.
When they took her for treatment. I knew she was in good hands. It was a seamless process.

Dr. Singh and his staff were professional and caring. I called them and they were able to see my dog in the same week to address my concerns about my elderly dog’s deteriorating health. When we went in for a consultation, Dr. Singh took his time to examine my pet and thoroughly explain treatment plans that would work for my pet and my budget. My experience with Pelandale family pet from start to finish was excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

I feel obligated to leave a review and do a public service announcement regarding my recent experience there.
First of all the doctor was very nice , but errors were made , errors that good of greatly impacted my life and my dogs life and health going forward .
I came to this facility on 10/6/24 to get my puppy spayed . While I was there I asked them about possible removal of growth on her ear that had just popped up recently since she was already going to be under.
The doctor spoke with me and gave me my options and said they could cut it off but it might grow ba I , he then said they could amputate / crop a large portion of ear ect … I said well we can just leave it . The tech then came to me and asked if I didn’t understand the doctor and that the doctor definitely early thought it was cancer and she had a cat die from same thing ect . She then said well I know you don’t want your dog to look funny if we remove the ear but we are talking about cancer . I said we don’t know if it’s cancer we need to send to lab . I’m in tears thinking my baby has cancer and as the week went on I waited for results finally on Thursday I got the call , it was benign ! Sadly my relief over the situation was accompanied with anger , I was pressured to remove a large portion of ear and without them having the proper knowledge , we would not treat a human being that way. Next comes Friday night ( 6 days after surgery ) as I’m putting her daily ointment on her ear I see something white ! It’s a huge piece of gauze in the shape of a rectangle stuffed very deep inside her ear. Again with most surgeries items are all counted so they don’t leave anything foreign in the body ect . This neglect could of caused massive infection and led to more issues. I never want to be that person that leaves a bad review , but I wish I would of read something like this and that would of stopped me from ever stepping foot in that place . I’m so happy our baby doesn’t have cancer , didn’t lose an ear and I found the gauze . I will never step foot inside that facility again .
