PAAIN is a wonderful group that really cares about animals. Easygoing and professional. I've been using their low-cost spay and neuter programs for years. It's never an issue. Stray cats are always finding us. We just sign them up, and PAAIN gets them taken care of. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

DO NOT even try adopting from here!! My husband and I just left from meeting GiGi a German shepherd and fell in love with our two children. Everything went GREAT, only occurrence was my son trying to grab a toy and she nudged him away. They claim she growled and bit him. NEVER did she. We have experience with German Shepherds, owned one who passed from epilepsy. My son was upset when leaving because he wanted to take her right then though they said she still needed microchipped and would bring her tomorrow and reassured him of this! 10 minutes after leaving I get a call over them saying no she was aggressive claiming this was in her best interest. GIGI is no where near aggressive and I have picture proof of her with other children besides my own! They do not look in the best interest of any animal as they claim as they are now sending her to a different rescue in Missouri!! I informed them I would be leaving a review for all to see and they proceeded to block mine and my husbands pages.. SHAME ON ALL THESE LADIES, robbed GiGi of a family who wanted to welcome her in with more than loving arms for her forever home! Please share with everyone as I’m sure my post will get deleted!

I called, rather than visit. These folks care, and even when they lacked the specific services required by the animal we rescued, they instead took the initiative to helped us with the vetinary costs. Thanks again. I recommend them. I also appreciate that there was one vet willing to take us as a special rescue appointment, when others wouldn't make any exception to the 'not accepting new applicants' status, even for a rescue. Sadly that's opposite of what their mission should be. Oh well, thankfully it worked out with the help of PAAIN and the one place that did look at the rescue and help her improve.

Don't waste your time. This is the kind of place that is ridiculously picky with their adoptions. Fill out a lengthy application online, wait a week for a response, then just get a one line email saying they aren't picking you. This is what makes people turn to breeders and pet stores and they sit there thinking they are actually helping rescue animals. For instance, I am a homeowner that lives next to a park with a dog park with a large fenced in backyard and a stable job to provide for the dog. Yet somehow I am unqualified. I didn't realize adopting rescue dog needed so many hoops. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else
