Taking my cats to the vet is rarely a pleasant experience, but the staff at Perryville Pet Hospital make it as pleasant as possible. The facility is very clean and the exam room for cats is a very nice touch. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of care that is given. Most importantly, the people who work here are just awesome; they go above and beyond. Everyone is so friendly and polite; you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. The doctors and techs/assistants are very communicative and thorough when discussing my cats’ health. They always call to check up on my cats in the days after a procedure, which I appreciate so much. I feel confident that my cats are in very capable and caring hands anytime they visit. Despite the fact that there are tons of vet offices closer to home, I will gladly make the drive to the best clinic in the area!

my cats came here for a routine check up and to establish care, I was so happy with the entire staff, everyone was so welcoming and you can tell there is a true passion for animal care here. the vet was so kind and addressed concerns previously dismissed by other vets. the room was very cat friendly and one of my cats was exploring the room, which is not something she has done at any vet before.

I really like this vet! They are very thoughtful and affordable. I had an emergency visit due to my cat getting a cold, and the price really wasn't bad as compared to vets in the suburbs. And they answered all my questions too which was very nice

It has taken me a little time to be able to write this review. We recently lost a valuable member of our family. Duke our rescue of over 13 years ago. We had recently changed our Vet from being out of town, to closer due to all our ages, and wanted to be closer to establish care for our two dogs. After Duke's first Annual Visit, he had his first "Senior Blood Panel" he had high levels of Kidney/Pancreas results. Dr Kramer prescribed digestive dog food, and a supplement of Denamarin for next couple of weeks. Dukie appeared to be fine, with the exception of stool color, texture was loose. x2 weeks later losing weight, and blood test again much higher. Dr. Kramer and her staff, was amazing. Dr. Kramer continued "Process of elimination" of Duke's symptoms and labs. She was always so optimistic! But a momma knows!! right? We together, decided to get an Ultrasound done. Long story short, Duke had Lymphoma, which effected his entire abdomen. The next x2 weeks was Duke's Bucket list as he rapidly declined in health. Dr. Kramer and her Staff taught me how to administer Duke's "Cocktail" (fluids) in case he needed to be hydrated on weekends, let me just come in and check in weight, and given support with my questions. When Duke decided it was his time, I called, and they prepared for his Day. Specialized parking, sign out front, couches, pillows, music, treats and a little more TIME. So beautiful and comforting. Private entrance. A wonderful paw print, and cremation container to bring our Big Boy home. Dr Kramer and her Staff, supported all my decisions, with her professionalism, care & empathy. They sent us a Sympathy card a week later, and also planted a Tree in honor of our Sweet Big boy! It honestly, doesn't get any better than this!!

I never leave reviews but I had to take a minute to share my experience with Dr Guedet, I had to part with our dearest family member a week ago which we all know how hard that is but Doc came in from vacation to help with this event.
If you believe in a higher power, karma ect. He was working that day extra hard.
Thank you Perryville Pet and BIG thx to Doctor for his care and service.

Dr. Emerik is so knowledgeable and compassionate. She was detailed in her treatment plans and explanations of Syrus' diagnosis. Her staff is always smiling and very helpful as well. Our nearly 4 month old golden, Syrus loved her immediately as well. Highly Recommend.

Could not love this place more!! Dr. Kramer and Dr. Guedet are loving, invested, compassionate, super knowledgeable, and the best vets we've ever encountered in all our years with pets. The technicians are friendly and personable, and I've never once felt rushed here, only welcomed and I feel as though they love our dogs almost as much as we do.
