Recently moved from dt Chicago to the Crown Point location, these employees are great. I scheduled a bath for Remy, so I went a day prior to check about his vaccination paperwork, they accepted a mobile picture since it was from the Vet. The 2 employees who had greeted me that evening we wonderful and kind. The next day, I took Remy for his bath with Amber, who was fabulous, quick, and communicative! She literally picked up my 75 lbs scared dog and took him to the back. She also clipped his nails and was a great first time experience w her. Thank you for treating us great! We'll be back soon, Amber!

Hands down recommend this store to anyone seeking help for sick pets. This is the first pet store I’ve been to where the employees actually care about doing the right thing and genuinely wanting to help people and their pets. I was so impressed with the level of customer service, going above and beyond to connect me with someone who specializes in fish care. My goldfish was suddenly not doing well, but despite several interventions, he was not improving. I came in on a whim to get some advice, and I was very happy with the service and genuine concern for my pet. I was able to message the team on their Facebook page to provide updates and was able to get further instruction as time went on. My goldfish is now back in good health thanks to the wonderful team here!

Employees were very nice and willing to help if needed. I went for an adoption event. The area for the event was kind of small, with everyone there to check out the 2 liters of puppies and the momma dog for one of the liters. But overall, it was a nice visit to the store. We found our new puppy to add to our family and got our other 2 dogs their milk bones.

Only place nearby where I can find Dr Marty dog food, if there was another store that supplied it I would go there instead. The store is nice, and SOME of the employees are aswell. The environment won’t be very nice for you in there unless you’re white. I’ve never had people stare at me like I was some sort of new species before, including the cashier who refused to even make eye contact or look at me and my mother when we were making a purchase. Not only that but she was very rude and had a unpleasant tone with us compared to the customers before and after us. It’s a per atore, we’re all going there to buy supplies for our pets. I shouldn’t be treated differently because of the color of my skin, the language I speak, and the accent I have, I’m there for the aame reason as the reat of the customers.

Employees are so helpful and easy to talk to. We had 1 girl go out of her way to discuss the best options for us and explain things we knew nothing about. I am so grateful for her. It is nice to see employees who truly care about animals and who can offer knowledge and advice into the products you are buying.
