I can't say enough good things about Dr. Mina and the amazing care he provided for my dog, Luna! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Dr. Mina took the time to thoroughly explain every step of Luna’s treatment and made sure she was comfortable and calm throughout the entire process. Their attention to detail and genuine concern for her well-being gave me peace of mind. Luna is usually a bit anxious at the vet, but Dr. Mina and his team went above and beyond to make her feel at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Mina to any pet owner looking for top-notch care!

I can't express enough how grateful I am to the incredible team at Pets Ahoy Animal Hospital for saving my dog's life. Snowy, my little Maltese, suddenly fell critically ill, and I was terrified. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with the utmost care, compassion, and professionalism.

Dr. Mena quickly diagnosed the issue and provided a clear plan of action. They explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, which really helped calm my nerves during such a stressful time. The entire team worked tirelessly, and their expertise was evident in every step they took.

Not only did they save my dog's life, but they also provided excellent follow-up care, ensuring that Snowy was comfortable and on the road to recovery. I felt supported throughout the entire process, and I knew my dog was in the best possible hands.

My cat Venus was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago. Earlier this week she stopped eating and started become more lethargic. I found Pet's Ahoy online and made an appointment.

They were more compassionate and empathetic than I could have hoped for. They let me have all the time I wanted with Venus before the final injection. They made a hard situation as easy as it could have been.

I'm struggling financially right now so I couldn't afford the cremation service like I thought I would be able to. So I said my last goodbye to Venus, thanked the vet techs for their help and left.

I didn't even get out of the parking spot I was in before I received a call from them saying that Venus' cremation had been covered by a donation.

THanks to their compassion and kindness I have my Venus back with me. I will be forever grateful to all the staff at Pet's Ahoy, and I can't recommend them enough.

Our 6YO dogs rear legs were giving out . We took her to our vet and he gave her a shot and sent us home. She was good for 7 days and then was worse than before. We took her to see Doc Mena . He gave her a thorough exam , blood , stool, urine and physical. A few days later he had the answer to why her legs were so bad , Osteoarthritis. He began treatment and within 5 weeks she was doing much better . 8 weeks and she is moving very well . I would highly recommend Dr. Mena , he is truly empathetic to your pets cause.

Our senior girl's face says it all. From the front desk staff to Dr. Mena, our experience with Pets Ahoy has always been great. Our girl had her first puppy visit with Dr Williams here 15 years ago.
Our visit today was with Dr. Mena. He always takes his time with us and is very caring toward our girl. He had great recommendations and explained everything clearly. We will continue bringing her here until her very last visit. Everyone is friendly and caring and they all take great care with our baby. Thanks Dr Mena and staff at Pets Ahoy.

DISREGARD ALL REVIEWS THAT ARE OVER 1 YEAR OLD!! DO NOT GO TO THIS VETERINARIAN UNLESS YOU ARE EXTREMELY WEALTHY AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL!!! THE VETERINARIAN THAT BUILT THIS PRACTICE RETIRED AND SOLD IT TO SOMEONE THAT TURNED IT INTO A MONEY GRAB!!! EXPLANATION BELOW:

The previous doctor that built the reputation of this clinic with a love for animals and good customer service has retired and sold it to someone who does not care about animals whatsoever, he is strictly in it for the money. He charged me almost $900 to diagnose an infection. He told me that my cat's liver had an infection and was 3 times it's normal size, putting pressure on her stomach and that's why she would not eat. I'm not a doctor but that did not make much sense to me at the time, how an infection could affect a liver in any animal so dramatically but I had been here before so I trusted him. HUGE MISTAKE!!! My cat stopped eating again and I took her to another vet who charged me $240 to diagnose that she had a fatty liver and a life-threatening liver issue, I can't remember the exact term was. He said had I brought the cat in sooner he could have done something, but now the best thing to do is to put her to sleep. This veterinarian at Pets Ahoy charged almost $900, and KILLED MY CAT. Had I gone to a real veterinarian that cared less about money and more about the animal my cat would have been properly diagnosed at less cost and I would not be setting an appointment right now to put her to sleep. Dr Williams whom built this practice on morals, ethics, and care has retired and sold this practice to a man that wishes to drive a Bentley. He did nothing to build this practice or its reputation, he bought it and I was completely blindsided when he walked into the door for my cats original appointment. Nobody notified me that this practice now belonged to someone else. I was pushed into a corner where my cat was not eating and I was now at a veterinarian that I did not know but knew that she needed help fast. I would have never have gone there had I been notified and given the opportunity to look on the internet and find all the negative reviews of this man. Had I walked out I would have saved hundreds of dollars and my cat's life! I provided a photo of what this doctor did to my cat. Notice how skinny she is, and she is hiding in a corner of my house waiting to die!!!!!! My children are absolutely heartbroken, this animal deserved better.

I cannot say enough good things about Pets Ahoy Animal Hospital, Dr. Mena and the staff! They are by far the BEST vet practice I’ve ever taken any of my dogs to before, and that’s saying a lot because I’ve had dogs for more than 40 years.

Dr. Mena is so passionate about helping animals, very caring, extremely knowledgeable, very thorough and he goes above & beyond. The staff is the same way. They all treat you & your pet like family and do everything they can for you & your pet. My little dog Gigi has a lot of health issues and I’ve taken her to see Dr. Mena since I adopted her. Gigi especially loves Dr. Mena, Christy & Jackie so much! She gets excited and relaxes as soon as she sees them. She gets a lot of love & attention when she goes there. I rest well knowing she’s in very good hands with them and well taken care of. I don’t know what I do without Dr. Mena & the staff. They’ve all been there not only for Gigi, but also for me, especially when my mom got sick and passed away recently. I cannot tell you how amazing they all are. I recommend them 110%!
