I love Pets on Main! I’ve been taking my dog here for the last few months and he always comes back smelling great with minimal shedding. Michelle does such a great job noticing if his ears are irritated and getting his nails trimmed.

We love Pets on Main and have been taking our dogs there for regular grooming since they first opened. Their prices are fair and the groomers and staff are well-organized and clearly love animals. I’m grateful to have independent businesses like this in Ellijay.

Just paid $40 for my dog to get a bath. My husband brought our dog in this morning at 9 am. He has never been groomed before and that was our main concern since he is a 4 yo working dog. He is very vocal and a sweetheart but we were informed they had 2 groomers there that were great with large dogs. 30 minutes after dropping him off we received a call that he was being aggressive. My husband went to immediately pick him up to be told that he was not agressive just very scared and they didn't want to push it. If you don't have the tools or experience to run your business then don't say you can groom large breed dogs.

My pet Ruby and I love going here. Everyone is so nice and we are always pleased when we leave! Ruby always gets the full groom package and always looks beautiful when she is done! Bailey is super nice and knowledge and treats ruby like a princess! Freddie is always friendly and helpful when needing to make an appt. Highly recommend this place!! ☺️

I have two rescue dogs that I brought for a full package groom a few days ago. One of the dogs has anxiety like I've never seen before - super, super high strung. I had to give him two Benadryl tablets (recommended by our vet) prior to dropping him off. We had him groomed a year ago in Marietta by another groomer that was not able to complete the service because he jumped off the table (nearly hanging himself) and wouldn't let the groomer proceed! To my complete surprise our baby looked FANTASTIC!!! He was bathed, COMPLETELY WELL groomed and happy!!! Our second dog was too, but she's much better behaved 🙂 We will absolutely take them to be groomed at Pets on Main on a regular basis. We are beyond thrilled with the results, and more importantly the way they treated our babies!!

We love Bailey! Choosing a groomer that you can trust with your fur baby is one of the most important decisions you make as a dog owner. Bailey is that groomer for us and we are so happy to have found her. She is knowledgeable about professionally grooming all breeds and treats our pet with kindness. Most of all, our doodle Layla loves to go see her!

We had two very positive grooms for our Yorkie and Bernedoodle. The third groom left our doodle with scabs on his ears, under his chin and on his neck. He had several matted areas that could have contributed to these issues but we are unsure. Our dog was at the vet the next day and she told us to keep an eye on his ears. He was then at Board and Train for 14 days. When he returned we contacted Pets On Main because large scabs were still present on his ears. We were disappointed the owner did not believe us when we contacted her, particularly since my wife had met the owner one day in town and she left a positive impression with my wife. Yesterday, 18 days later, the vet told us his ears are healing and should be fine. We are sad this happened and we will not return to Pets On Main.

We have brought our dog Chloe to Pets on Main in the past. The groomer always took anywhere to 4-6 hours to groom our little Shih Tzu. Took Chloe back last time and there were new groomers that were certified now instead of the old ones that use to work there. Well it only took an hour to groom our dog which I thought was pretty quick. The groomer shaved her down because of all the mats which was fine. We got our dog home and she was terrified and wouldn't eat or drink anything for a couple days. Literally took a couple weeks for our dog to return to her normal self. I will never recommend them again to anyone. Please stay away from this business and look elsewhere.
