We moved to Troy back in 2022 and have used this vet ever since. Pike AH have always taken such good care of our animals. Sadly we lost our sweet Stella over the weekend of kidney failure, and they did everything they could for our sweet girl. They were in touch with us throughout the weekend which I really appreciated under the circumstances. My dogs have been boarded there multiple times, taken for vet care, shots, etc and they have always been outstanding there. If you are looking to take your fur babies to a vet, I would recommend them every time. They truly care about your animals there. Thank you PAH for taking such good care of our animals.

I’m a truck driver and found this baby kitten at a MS truck stop. I Couldn’t bring myself to leave it behind. I went to different vets because I felt like it wasn’t going to make it. I got turned away. I called this place and she said bring him in. They got em with no problem!!! I feel he is in better hands, I can breath. They are heaven sent❤️❤️!!

Friday, June 7th, our 11 week old puppy ate something outside that caused her to have a seizure. It was already after 5:30pm but Doc returned my call. He met us at the clinic and quickly diagnosed her. Due to her seizing, he took her home with him for the night. He told I could pick her up anytime after 9am. She was one happy girl to see me. Doc delivered her, has already given her first set of immunizations and she's on flea, tick and heartworm preventive. Now he has saved her life. I wouldn't dream of taking my three girls to any other vet.

The staff got my cat in super quick and easily identified the issue and treated it! We spent less than 30 minutes in there altogether, which we really appreciated. The services are very affordable and the Doctor was super nice and informative. The staff was very friendly and made us feel super welcomed! I will absolutely be recommending them to everyone I can!

We trust Dr. Johnston and his staff with all of our fur babies and are so thankful to have them close to home. Dr. Johnston goes beyond most and takes the time to explain and educate clients. He is fair and just in his pricing and does not perform unnecessary tests/procedures. Dr. Johnston is a caring human being who will treat your pets as if they were his own. I strongly admire his love and passion for animals and am very happy we chose his hospital. You will be too.

Could not recommend them more! Our cat Wishbone was bitten by a snake as well as shot by someone. Unfortunately, he had to have his leg amputated, but he’s doing amazing. The whole staff took such incredible care of him the entire time and gave us constant updates. They showed such compassion and love toward our beloved pet. Definitely the best around!

If you are looking for a vet that you trust, stop looking. This is the place! I have been bringing my pug here since he was 8 weeks old. In these last four years, I have used them for boarding, vaccinations, neutering and even middle of the night emergencies. Dr. Johnston is everything you are wanting in a vet. He is kind, caring and genuinely loves each of his patients as if they are his own. My dog suffered a seizure in the middle of the night, he took my call and met me at the clinic without hesitation. I even have friends and family, from other states, who use Pike Animal Hospital.The whole staff are just amazing and so helpful.They truly go above and beyond. (Also, side note, they accept CareCredit - which is so helpful!)
