In August we discovered that our Schnauzer Nola had developed granulomatous meningoencephalitis, a serious neurological disease that caused her to begin seizing. He was able to have her promptly seen by a neurologist in Melbourne the next day that made an accurate diagnosis and began treatment that at least let us have Nola for another month. As the disease progressed, Dr. Witte and his staff demonstrated what truly compassionate care is all about, even on the day we had to put her to sleep when it was clear the treatment wasn’t working. Nola was even able to enjoy a Hershey’s chocolate kiss from Dr. Witte on her final day, which she SO enjoyed in front of us before we had to say good bye.

This experience with Dr. Witte and his staff showed us that he is not just a veterinarian, but an extraordinary one. You’ll never want anyone else caring for you and your pet.
