The staff and Dr. Petty are very knowledgeable and caring. I refuse to bring my dogs anywhere else after I thought I was losing my dog and spent all my money on care, they worked with me to get him back to health and got him in the same day that I called crying to them that I needed help for him. Ever since then Noone sees my animals except their office. They are thorough and compassionate. Even patient with my Rottweiler who needs a muzzle because he wants to eat doc everything lol. Absolutely would 💯 recommend them to anyone. The office staff even deals with me calling over the smallest worry I have. ❤️ them .

Pleasant Prairie Animal Hospital has been wonderful and has made me feel comfortable as I have made the transition from my trusted lifelong vet. I have brought my 2 fancy cats and 2 dogs to them without issues. They do not try to upsell any products like some of the other vets in the area. Recently, they advised me that I had scheduled an appointment for something that truly was not needed and was costly, which saved me money. I love the fact that they truly care about the animals. They are personable and if I bring in one pet they actually remember the other pets names… not anything I expect but it shows that they pay attention. I love Rachel, she works the office portion but she is beyond helpful, she tells it how it is and she is hilarious… all qualities I value. I believe that anyone in the area should give this animal hospital a try and see if it is a good fit!

Love this place, they got me in quick when I was worried about my Willy not doing well. Rachel, all the staff, and Dr Kelly were awesome. Followed up with test results and were so helpful all the way through. It's a bit of a further drive for me, but worth it.
I would also like to add (since I cannot remember if I posted back then), several years back Dr Petty did an excellent job on my other cat Sissy's FHO surgery. She healed well and has had no issues since. Great team at this place!

Our kennel has been served in this clinic for a year already, before that we were in another clinics, and we have something to compare with. We have never seen such a sensitive, attentive, caring attitude towards our pets anywhere. Here you will be provided with any qualified assistance from vaccinations to complex operations. My Nova is still in the process of healing but I am certain that she will continue to be the trooper that she is with the help of Dr Petty and his staff.

All the vet techs were lovely, and I thought they handled my cat very well. Piper has a severe fear of the vet, she was abandoned at 2 previously and eventually left at the humane society multiple times over the years. I saw Dr. Kelly. I think I might’ve come on a bad day. I’m not sure, but I could tell she was irritated the entire time. She was very short with me and kept telling me that I needed to train my cat so she’d behave better at the vet and around strangers. I felt horrible coming out of the exam. Idk, I try my best for Piper and I thought she was doing better. She used to never come out of my bedroom. I also got her to play, be in an open space without flinching, and she tolerates loud noises or sudden movements now. I just felt like I was a failure as a cat mom. I was told that she needed to lose weight, and to use even more feliway than I am. I already have 2 diffusers, and I added a third. But Dr. Kelly also wanted a calming collar on her.

I don’t think I’m coming back to this practice. I’m just not comfortable, and I was very nervous the entire time. Maybe it was a bad day for her but I wish she was a bit nicer to me. I think our personalities were too different. I think she’s a good vet, but I won’t be coming back here.

Pleasant Prairie Animal Hospital is the only place I will take my animals. Dr. Petty has been amazing with both of my cats, and they are definitely not a fan of the vet! The office is comfortable and clean. Every worker there is passionate about their job: Rachel, Jr. Sarah, Natalie, and Brittany have all been extremely helpful behind the desk and in the exam rooms. As a young woman who just got her first pet- I will always be bringing my animals to Pleasant Prairie Animal Hospital.
