I dropped off my two cats Kuro and Kizu to be neutered on 6/19/24. They were happy, healthy, and ready to be picked up less than four hours later. The vet and the techs were kind, informative and skilled. If you need a vet, use Polar Pets!

As some veterinary clinics are not taking new clients, Polar Pets is. This was my first time here. I really like this place. Easy check-in, wonderful nurse, and great vet!!! All my questions were patiently answered, and my 2 kitties accepted their 2 shots and nail trimming very calmly.
We will return for other kitty needs. Thank you!

This was the best vet experience I’ve had in Anchorage. Everyone was so kind and patient with my anxious dog. The vet also took the time to thoroughly explain her diagnosis in layman’s terms. They also got me in same day despite being a new patient!

Staff is great, Dr. Rizor was fantastic with your young puppy and senior pup. Doesn't try to up sell you on stuff you don't need and provides good explanations and education on the pups health

Had our first appointment at this clinic today and I was very please with the visit overall. Dr. Rizor is very kind and personable, and made sure to provide us with all the information we needed. It was a clean and comfortable space for me and my kitty. All the staff members were very kind as well.

Best veterinarian and staff in Anchorage. They took the time to get to know my pups and listened to my concerns. Very thorough vet care and I was not feeling rushed out the door. I love that! My hedgehog and I love doctor Rizor! He’s knowledgeable, and willing to teach me how to do things to care for him! We’ve never had an issue getting in when I have urgent concerns, and he takes all concerns seriously!

I am so grateful to have found such an amazing vet. I have a high strung dog that struggles to go into a vet office. They were so helpful with resources to help him get over this issue, they were also so patient with him and getting him physically through the door.
