I took my dog here for about a year and a half; during that time she had a lot of medical issues that we eventually sorted out, but we were there fairly often and I always felt like she got good care. Another A+ I'd like to give them specifically though is their record keeping. I had my dogs vet records transferred to a new vet hospital when I moved out of state. My new vet specifically mentioned how thorough and well documented my dog's medical history was as she was going through the records trying to determine some future care needs.

Also just in my own experience, whenever I would have multiple follow up calls with Prairie View about any one of my dogs issues, I never felt like I had to explain the situation repeatedly when I spoke to different people because the staff were all so good at taking good notes on my dogs chart/records. It's never easy dealing with multiple health issues for our furry ones but I always appreciated how organized they were.

We started taking my puppy scout to Prairie View when I first got him at 2 months and we recently got him neutered there. We’re always greeted by the very nice ladies at the front desk. The vet and techs have been so kind. Scout is VERY high energy and they’re not phased one bit by it! I’ve had to call a couple times due to scout getting into something he shouldn’t have, and they’re always a phone call away to help. We got him neutered a week ago and he is recovering better than we expected!

I've been going to Prairie View for 30 years. You can truly tell the Drs. and staff care about our animals and about how we feel. I'm so thankful for their kindness and compassion. I never feel rushed, and they always address my concerns. They always follow up with timely phone calls for labs, x-rays or next steps. Thank you for everything you do!

Went with a friend to help her with her two cats’ first appointments. The staff was very sweet and helpful with the process. They took us in quickly and the vet and assistant were very kind. They gave the kitties complimentary treats, a free ear cleaning to demonstrate how to do it at home, and even answered questions I had, even thought it wasn’t fully related to what the appointment was about (I asked about ear cleaning for dogs). Overall great environment!

Cali & Emma have been going to Prairie View since we got them at TAILS as puppies. They are currently 8 & 9yrs old. I’ve always had great experiences, but I don’t always shout them out. Today they definitely deserved a shout out. My dog Cali went to get her ears looked at. They happened to be running behind due to an unexpected procedure that they had to do. Things happen and I totally understand. I was a bit worried that my visit would be super quick as they were closing soon. I had one other thing besides the ears that I really wanted to ask Dr. Emmert about while we were there. Even though it was a bit past closing Dr. Emmert and the entire care team all took their time to be sure that we still had an amazing experience as we usually do. He took his time with her care and with my questions that I brought up. I really appreciate everything! My dogs are my babies before my babies and seeing them get older and have other unexpected things that come up that maybe “normal” with age, but not something I am used to seeing in them is hard. Sometimes as a pet owner we question whether we should call about something or bring them in for a visit. It is so nice to be able to ask questions and have concerns about an aging pup without being judged for asking something.

We have been bringing our pets in for years (basically since they opened). I have to say that the staff & doctors have ALWAYS been wonderful with our pets! I would highly recommend Prairie View to anyone with a pet. They are very sympathetic, caring & experienced.

We made an appointment the night before and were able to get in the next day. The staff are all friendly and caring. The facility was clean and didn't smell .

We LOVE how they care for our animals and us humans when our past dog was old and had to cross the rainbow bridge. Kindness in times of need and always keeping them healthy!!
