Setup an appointment roughly 2 weeks prior to said appointment and was told multiple times there would be a 0 dollar copay as my insurance covered it. I show up and suddenly it's almost 100 dollars and to cancel would be 120. Don't ever put a card on file that they can easily charge, they'll snake you out of your money. I called up my insurance and they said they've gotten numerous complaints from this facility.

Steer clear.

Couple things: First, their voice automation is way too much information. It took almost 10 minutes to get through after listening to all the extra information (that turns out to be incorrect anyway, $85 for reschedule, not $65).

Second, my daughter tested positive for COVID the morning of her appointment. They said she had to do a tele-health or be charged $85. I said she has a fever and is not up to it at all. They said she had to or be charged because they need to bill for the time regardless of my daughter's health. This is unheard of in the health industry.

Lack of compassion and disorganization leaves them with 2 stars for now. I will update if they change their policies.

Check other reviews to make sure this review is consistent with other patients experiences and it is a good idea to call and fact check reviews before making a decision, but I would look elsewhere if possible for now.

After calling to inquire about the process for educational testing (for my daughter), I promptly submitted all required paperwork. When I called to schedule an appointment, I was repeatedly told that someone would call me back to schedule the intake appointment. No one called - it's been several weeks. School is back in session. Very poor customer service.

Thankfully, I found another mental health provider who was available and willing to help.

Very disappointed. Saw them a few times for couples counseling and actually really liked the therapist. Well, after filing for divorce, they won’t see you anymore. They just dump you when you are struggling and needing to talk to someone the most! I’m shocked, but also saddened. I hope this review helps someone in my similar situation. It was like a slap in the face when you are at your lowest point.

I would like to begin by saying the staff are professional and kind when you are interacting with them. I scheduled an appointment one month ago to meet with a counselor for the first time. After I was checked in I was sat down with someone who told me they would not be able to see me today or for the next three months, so they gave me a list of people that MIGHT be able to see me at other clinics. They said they were aware that my appointment was going to be cancelled but failed to notify me in the weeks prior. This is a HUGE let down and I am sorry that the clinic operates this way. This is not a good business model unless you are just trying to skim copay off your patients after not rendering services and hoping they forget to ask for a refund. If I was informed that I would not be seen before I got to the clinic, I would probably not be writing this. I hope Prevail management reads this and understands that I feel robbed of time and now my mental health will have to wait for who knows how long. I live an hour from this clinic and have been waiting all month to finally be seen by a professional. 2 stars for kindness.

Called for In-person availability to seek individual counseling. Original intake appt set for a week later, was called day of to see if interested in televisit as in-take therapist was home after being exposed to Covid. I prefer in-person so I rescheduled for the following week. I arrived a few minutes early, but they were running late (no big deal, I understand) However, the tv volume in the waiting room was loud and the show on the TV was an alien cartoon, I stood up to see if there were any kids in the room, nope just me and the receptionist. After about 40 minutes, met with Stephanie for in-take (was a very pleasant experience visiting with her) then was scheduled for the next 4 weeks with a different therapist that was “very experienced and professional”. Day of appointment was called to see if I could come in earlier as there was a cancellation. I work, so this was not a possibility. Then was called an hour or so before my scheduled appointment to see if we could do televisit as the therapist went home! No, I prefer In-person (remember) when can we reschedule?… not until the next scheduled appointment the following week.
I then asked to be taken off the schedule and my payment method deleted, I can’t take the chance that my next appointment would be cancelled or asked for televisit again. I spent time researching, now a month later I’m back to researching an in-person therapist.

My family spent $1000s of dollars here with no real solutions. Stephanie Kosut is very nice and seemed knowledgeable but beyond recommending some natural solutions she was not helpful. It has been months now and my family’s situation is now even more serious. I will give some slack for the lack of service during pandemic but we have waited weeks and weeks because she was sick, then on vacation and after emails, left messages there has been very little effort to return phone calls and set appointments. I DO NOT recommend Prevail counseling if you are need of help for anything beyond very light and limited counseling. If you have serious needs please get some referrals. Online her qualifications and office appeared to offer the services we needed. However, Prevail Counseling has been a huge disappointment meeting the needs of my family. We have been more than patient. We have paid for services and have excellent insurance.

Like many others, we had to wait to get into an appt with a Therapist. They actually suggested that I pull my son out of school to see a Therapist. A kid with anxiety already, but let's pull him out so he can stress about missing school? In addition, they charged me full amount for my visits, even though the insurance company paid the majority of the bill. Trying to get my money back has been a challenge. DO NOT GO HERE! They do what they can to get you in the door, but then it's a challenge after that.
