I moved to the LA area in 2021 and one of the first things I did was look for a good Veterinarian. I decided on Rainbow based on their AAHA affiliation and the bios of their doctors. I was not disappointed. The entire team there is very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I decided to have grooming done there as well since my baby started having seizures and she was a senior so I felt it was safer as they could administer her med. The groomer they have is very gentle and patient and a wonderful person who I felt so comfortable with. My dog was very nervous but she was relaxed in her arms which amazed me. I lost my companion of 17 -1/2 years last Friday. Her groomer cried with us and every staff member there gave condolences and were very compassionate. We were allowed as much time as we needed with her during and after her death. The decision I made to get her care there is one I never have to regret.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! We chose this vet because it seemed promising and we had a voucher for a free neuter for our kitten with this vet as a suggestion. We had an okay first appointment but was caught off guard by them wanting a $600 payment on top of the “free voucher” and it was understood that they were just being nice in order for us to spend extra money on necessities for the kitten as a work around. We ended up negotiating the cost down and they were still nice since we were spending a lot of money. We ended up calling and making an appointment for our other cat as he had developed a concerning problem on his face out of no where and thought this was a trusted vet. We were wrong. We emailed the vet with responses multiple times in the morning of the appointment and had a phone call with them confirming an appointment. They had same day or next day and we were debating which time worked better. We ended up calling them back within 3 minutes and booked the same day. We drove 45 minutes in traffic with our cat and when we showed up at our designated time, they claimed we didn’t exist in the system even though we are returning clients, then said our appointment never was booked. We said that’s not possible as we had been emailing them all morning, showed them the messages, and call log history from multiple phone calls. They said that didn’t matter and maybe they can take us in an hour and a half… didn’t make any sense to us but they offered to take the cats to the back for a litter box and we had to leave for 1.5 hours. When we came back they LOST OUR CAT!!! We got taken back into the room, a worker in scrubs had walked HOLDING a random dog and said oh sorry.. and left … then we waited for 15 minutes. Then the vet came in with no cat again and said what can he do for us We were like Where is our cat? And he never answered, just walked out completely silent. Then the same worker that walked in holding someone else’s dog came back in and said that because we ditched our cat there that we don’t get an appointment and why would we bring our cat in like that, etc. trying to argue with us when we just wanted our cat seen and now we have been waiting close to 3 hours. Then the vet stepped back in, STILL NO CAT, then told the assistant that there is no more appointments today and we had to leave … STILL. NO. CAT!!! We had to go down the hallway, find another person working and knock on a door to find our cat and get him back. Then on the way out we were told that we can’t carry the cat in our arms but we needed to bring our carrier in, EVEN THOUGH HE WAS ALREADY IN THE BACK OF THE VET, they took him from us, NO CARRIER, and she was HOLDING another dog. There is a big sign at the front that says “please HOLD or LEASH your animal” and that’s exactly what we did. Our cat STILL has a bad problem that wasn’t treated and now we are at a loss and he’s really sick. DON’T GO HERE!!! They will waste your time and be out of line, disrespectful unless you are spending HUNDREDS!!!

the vets “doctors” are rude, they don’t listen and used very harsh language about how “I created a monster” because my anxiety prone dog (toy poodle) developed separation anxiety, after enduring traumatic experience of flying cargo in a 15 hour flight when she was just four months old. to top that I’ve spent over $2000 dollars when my dog had stomach issues, they sent us home with antibiotics and NO ANWERS. I’ve only been going there for a year and because they ALWAYS have availabilities and the receptions are nice. I saw another review that I agree with, about how “one of the doctors tried to recommend a certain brand of food and they think they’re being paid under the table to market the brand.” they also charge a ridiculous amount for grooming and my dog looked like chubaca. anyway, I left because they’re always trying to charge me or sell me things and run toooooooo many tests to “make sure” so yeah, I don’t recommend this place.

Clean and nice staff. They were not really able to help out limping dog. Paid for x-ray, but he healed on his own so probably will be less inclined in the future to take him in unless conditions are worse.

I fell in love with Rainbow Veterinary Hospital, because 2 months ago one of my bunnies was severely injured on his eyelid and there wasn't much hope to save his eyelid but the doctor did an incredible job and was able to conserve his eyelid. My family and I were worried at first, when we heard that he was going to be under anestesia but we were so happy that everything went well and now my bunny is living his best life. I also want to thank the front desk/nurses, they were so nice and the doctors were so informative, patient and answered all of our concerns without any hesitation. I highly recommend bringing your bunny here!!!

I'm so glad we found Rainbow. Our dog loves her grooming, haircut, and teeth cleaning. She smells great too. We like the baby powder smell. Thanks for the bandanas.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. My sweet little maltipoo got so so beyond sick and I thought there was no chance of survival. Rainbow did everything in their power to save my little doll baby and managed to pull off a miracle. My entire family is indebted to them and their kind ways and emotional support for us as well as our sweet girl. This isn’t the first time we have used them and they have ALWAYS gone above and beyond. I wouldn’t ever trust anyone but them!
