After only having experience with one other animal hospital, I have to say, Red Barn is truly amazing. It can be scary trusting a new clinic. From the initial phone call to set up the appointment to the actual appointment, there is not one thing that could have been better. Very friendly staff and clean clinic.

Have been coming here for 8 year. Dr. Stover and her team are wonderful and they take really good care of my dogs. When my poodle mix went into CHF, they worked on her right away and they got her meds sorted out and she lived for another 13 month.Very grateful that I got extra time with my dog. They are very knowledgeable vets and staff.

Do not trust this place. They barely do a physical evaluation of your pet when brought in and push all these tests to be done and vaccinations. After already spending about $400 I was told about a back charge for lab work done a week and a half ago. I had to call multiple times to get the lab results. This charge was never discussed prior, nor asked for payment while waiting in the lobby or once I asked if anything else was needed after my dog was returned. I came in for x-rays today that couldn't be done because my dog was moving too much (apparently) The business didn't want to own up to their mistake, which it was a mistake, since the blood draw they did today, they did try collecting payment for that lab test ahead of time. They also threatened me with the bill going to collections.

My Copper LOVES Red Barn Animal Hospital! And while he IS, a bit of a ladies' man, he is especially sweet on Dr. Stover! 🥰 And it's a good thing, too, because this sometimes naughty cattle dog has managed to injure himself several times over the last few months, and each time the Dr. has quickly assessed and treated the problem.
Heee's a handful! But LOOK at that face!!😍
It's a good thing we have Red Barn!!! ❤️

My dogs and I are now clients for life! Dr. Stone is so kind and understanding and she listens and answers questions. There is no rush and their fees are reasonable and affordable. And the girls at the front desk are very nice and very helpful, as well. I feel blessed to have found this office and I understand why they are top rated and why many people in these ratings say that they even travel quite a bit to bring their pets here. I only wish that I had found them sooner but now that I have, I will never leave. A good Vet is everything when your fur babies are sick.
I've been sooo sad... And while I know my doggy is getting old and her health may be seriously starting to slip, at least I can feel good in my heart and soul that I am giving her the very best care that I possibly can. And so today, I can feel a bit better.

I’ve been taking my dogs here for a few years now. The staff is super friendly and the vet’s are always open to my holistic pet practices. They have fair prices on services and medication and they always advise me of the latest reward opportunities. Like most pet parents, I avoided the vet all summer because I felt uneasy about the curbside service but they were so good to me. They addressed all my concerns over the phone without being rushed and even sent me this cute photo while I waited in my car. Truly love them!

My senior dog has been going here for the last couple years for routine exams and to monitor a heart murmur. At a check up last year, “light tartar” was written in my dog’s exam notes. Less than 6 months later, he all of a sudden needed 12 teeth removed. This was only found because I brought him in specifically for losing a tooth. Why was this not caught before? Why would a dog who needs 12 extractions only have “light tartar” just the previous year? I was told to see a cardiologist for clearance before the procedure required was even explained to me. At the follow up appointment for the surgery, I asked about the correct food to give him since he’s missing most of his teeth now and my question was dismissed by the tech saying, “oh he just has a tech appointment today!” After insisting, she asked if I gave him grain free food. (Of note, I had brought the food in the original package with me and had JUST shown her the label where it says “GRAIN FREE” — she might have seen that had she not brushed off my question right away.) I said yes, I did. I was informed that grain free food is not good for dogs with heart conditions and can actually CAUSE heart conditions. AGAIN, why was this not brought to my attention sooner? I have tried several vets within the practice and have been very disappointed with each. I gave two stars because Dr. Gilbertson did a great job with his surgery. Fortunately I’m not a litigious person, but I will not be returning. If anything, my dog’s life has been shortened for going to this practice.
