My husband and I took our dog, Sunny, into RVH due to her beginning to tremble for no apparent reason. Dr. Atamanchuk listened, really listened, to the history of Sunny and to our concerns. Dr. Atamanchuk made the decision to do an ultrasound of Sunny’s abdomen, subsequently locating a mass on her spleen. Surgery was scheduled for a splenectomy with Dr. Cook. The surgery was a success! About 9 days later, Sunny started to vomit, was unsteady on her feet, and literally her eyes were twitching. We called RVC and got Sunny an appointment ASAP. Dr Bristol met with us, listening to all of Sunny’s new symptoms. She immediately examined Sunny and began treatment for Vestibular Disease. Dr. Bristol checked in on Sunny often, even on off hours and her days off. Without Dr. Atamanchuk, Dr. Cook, and Dr. Bristol our time with Sunny would have been shortened. The front desk ladies and vet techs are wonderful too. Picture is of Sunny with her cat, Bean. We highly recommend RVH!!

The facility and parking area remodel seems complete, and nice. Personnel were verrrry helpful with Chunk. Chunk was there to get his nails trimmed, and he does......not.....like....it. But the technicians were sympathetic towards his dilemma. Getting an appointment is not always as soon as we'd like, but once there, in and out was pretty good.

We love Dr Bristol and ALL the staff at Roane Veterinary Hospital. They have been exceptionally helpful & friendly! We feel our Pups receive the most comprehensive, and best care here.

In January I contacted the clinic having made the decision to end my aging kitties suffering. Without hesitation they said to come on in. But after my 15 y/o Bailey boy perked up we decided to wait.
Finally after7 good months we were left with no other choice, we had to make that call again. This time there was no question. Not only did they remember the conversation from January they said to come on in. Unfortunately my kitty did not make it there. I called to cancel and the woman I spoke to offered sweet condolences.

A week later I received a lovely card with handwritten condolences mentioning our sweet Bailey by name. This clinic who had never met our Bailey (he was a healthy house-cat who got violently ill with travel, vaccines, and most anything outside the norm so he stayed home happily).

I can’t express how grateful I am for the thoughtfulness. Thank you!

We had a follow up appointment schedule at Roane Vet Hospital for our pup. I received a call a few hours before the appointment says that they needed to reschedule because the Vet had to go home due to illness. Understandable. I asked when they could reschedule for because our pup was still not feeling well. We were given an appointment for 8:30 am the next morning. My husband and pup arrived at 8:17 a.m. and was the only car in the lot. My husband called to check in as request but got the machine. He left a message. The car was in full view of the front desk and my husband saw the vet arrive. Two other cars pulled in and went in with their pets. My husband waited and then finally called again and was told that he had missed the appointment. He told the receptionist that he had been there well before the appointment and had called. She simply stated she was busy. So my husband left as they would not see our pet at this point.

I called the Vet to express our frustration. How could they be busy when my husband and pet were the first ones there? If they were expecting an 8:30 appointment and could see that there was a car in the lot, would they not check e followed the signs that they have up to call to check in which is what we had done on every previous visit.

I requested the Vet to call us since our pup was still sick. Now, a week later, I still have not heard from the Vet.

Thankful, we were able to get her seen at another Vet that same day.

Very disappointed in Roane Veterinary Hospital. They didn't seem to care at all about our pup and customer service was definitely a miss on this visit!

Dr. Bristol, Emily & the team take such good care of my babies!!! And we really appreciate everything they do. Always checking in whether it's via email or a call. They know all of our babies by their names. And that has to be hard with all the different pets but same breeds. Hats off to you guys. And THANK YOU <3

The staff I've interacted with at Roane Veterinary Hospital truly care about animals. Dr. Bristol is very engaged with her patients. Following her treatment of our pets, Dr. Bristol calls to ensure that the pet is doing well and encourages us to contact RVH if an issue develops. Treatment is always spot on; i.e. the problem is properly diagnosed and the correct treatment is administered.
