My husband went to the Robinson Clinic on Peoples with our very sick kitten at 10:30 am on Sat 2/15. We’ve been taking our pets to the other Robinson clinic for decades and expected the same great care. That was a mistake. There were two women at the counter and the older one had the empathy of a rock. There was no one there at all. But she said they were too busy and he‘d have to bring her back at two (when the emergency pricing started)! My husband went to the Airport Hospital in Blountville where they were real nice. The lady was very nice and they were able to see the kitten.

Amazing staff really went above and beyond to care for my sick cat! Love the fact they was open on Sunday and seen my cat an hour and a half after I called. Amazing place! Would love to make them my animals permanent vet!

Today we made a very hard decision. We brought our 12 year old dog in, he took a turn overnight with an illness that wasn't curable. I called this morning and explained it was time to let go of a very loved member of our family. They made the time for us on a busy, fully booked day. When we arrived a wonderful tech came to our car with medication to help keep him calm, the vet has always been stressful for him. They waited patiently for it to help him. They administered a second dose when the first didn't sooth him completely and again waited patiently for us, for him.
When it was time to take him inside they helped us gently take him in, careful not to cause him any additional pain. They talked to us and him with respect and kindness, to help us make final decisions. We were with him through the entire process. Never rushed, the patience and kindness they showed us and our old man was something I cannot thank them enough for. It was a hard day but the staff and vet went above and beyond to make it as peaceful and comfortable as possible for him. I will always be thankful for the kindness we were shown today. For the respect and kindness they showed our boy. Thank you

John the vet tech gets 10 stars.

We put our dog down a week ago today. John was so compassionate and kind. The man deserves way more than he is being paid.

Due to not having a container large enough for my Newfoundland, Robinson had to hold my dog from last Wednesday to this past Monday.

In an effort to ease my pain, I stopped by the People’s Street location around 12:40pm and paid our Newfie’s euthanasia bill as we were not presented one when we departed the office previously. The bill was apx. $161. We have nine animals and our bill last Dec. for all of them was $2300. We have been clients for almost thirteen years. Whether the visit was for one such as stated above or $200 for medication we ALWAYS paid our bill the same day in full.

So, imagine my shock when we return to the office two hours later to pick up our Newfoundland and Janet comes down the sidewalk as we are loading our beloved baby and says something like, “I know you are in pain, but you need to pay the bill.” To which I responded, “Janet, I came by and paid you (yes, she took my payment) two hours ago”. She stated, “no you did not”. I replied, “yes I did and I have the receipt in my purse”. The real kicker was that she had brought out to our car the portable payment device for a credit card.

Imagine the horror and anger in my mind as I am absorbing all of this when loading my precious most perfect dog ever born and my “child” all while barely being able to communicate as I am literally hauling my baby to the pet cemetery at Washington County Memory Gardens (btw—Angelee Murray w this company is beyond awesome).

James Robinson would be so disappointed in what his work of a lifetime of love for animals and his customers has evolved into.

Needless to say, we are looking for a new vet for our remaining eight animals.

Dr. Rachel Fogg is amazing and we love her, but this is too much of a tragedy, unprofessional, lack of compassion and caring we have ever experienced to ever return.

Dr P always gives us great care. My German Shepherd is reactive and going blind so she startles easily. They always make accommodations for us by letting me know when the lobby is clear and then letting my dog in. Dr P is very thorough and pleasant to deal with. He is one of the best vets I’ve ever gone to. He seriously reviews your pets care and discusses everything with you and no one there rushes us out. I will never go anywhere else.

Was told over the phone that the emergency visit fee was $85 plus the cost of whatever they were going to do they took me the room they took the dog they brought him back They told me they gave him a shot and medicine in his ears. Idk if they did I didn't get to see that. Then another lady comes in with a machine to scan my credit card telling me it's $334.80. the receipt has no details of what I paid for just a generic receipt So I don't know what cost what I'm tired of these vet clinics around here caring more about how much money they can make off of you!! If anyone knows of a vet clinic around here that actually cares about the animal and is reasonably priced please let me know because I'm in desperate need of one.

Robinsons saw both of my beardies over the last couple of months! To say the care for reptiles in this area is hard to find is an understatement, it is incredibly difficult! So, when I called Robinsons and they said they could see them, I was over the moon! They did amazing with both of my reptile babies. They handled them with care, treated them just as you would a dog/cat that came in, and made me feel so much more secure in taking my babies to be seen. My lizard girl, she’s not had the easiest run, she’s been sick. They took such great care of her recently, and she is finally starting to feel better. If you have a cat, dog, or even the “unconventional,” animals, I recommend Robinson’s 100%! They care for your babies without breaking the bank as well

Front desk lady was insanely rude. I brought in my pound kitty to get fixed and had this lady lecture me for 3 minutes about him needing 3 shots, which I had the third last week. My fur baby was there to be castrated and that is the end of our transaction. You don't need his records, it doesn't affect our transaction and he's not your regular patient. Even the other staff acknowledged how rude she is. I hope to never need their emergency services, because that's the only way I'd ever bring any of my babies back to this building.
