This is the odd review from someone who is not a client, but we had to give Rockdale Animal Hospital kudos where deserved.

Our dog had what appeared to be an emergency situation at 4:30PM. Our 20 year vet could not see us until the following morning at 10:00AM, so we called around. At 4:45PM, I called RAH to see if they could see her. We were told they were closing in 15 minutes, but if we could get there by 5:00, they would see her.

Of course, Salem Road traffic being what it is, we were stuck in traffic at 5:00. I tried to call to let them know we were on the way, but the after-hours answering service was already on.

About 10 minutes later, I received a call from the office asking if we were coming. I explained our situation and that we were caught in traffic and that we didn't want to hold them up. They ended up getting us a referral to an after-hours emergency clinic.

The folks at Rockdale Animal Hospital did not have to go out of their way to make sure our dog was seen by someone. We have never been there and they have never seen our pets, but if this interaction is any indication, any pets brought here will be in great hands.

Our dog got hurt and needed stitches. We couldn't get in to our regular vet so called around. I am so glad we found RAH. From the front desk to the doctor, they were all so nice. I love that the doctor took his time and explained everything. Very professional and did great getting my furbaby fixed up.

Best vets anywhere!! Been using RAH for at least 12 years, maybe longer. Dr Gee is who I usually see now but have had a lot of experience with Dr Crain also. They are both so caring and will take all the time you need with them. I have Shar Pei and they have had plenty of health issues. They have both been so kind when it was time to let go on one of mine. I remember one time years ago when I was breeding a litter of Pei babies and was injured or something and couldn’t bring my litter in for dew claws. Dr Crain brought a tech with him to my home and took care of it for me. I’ve never forgotten about that. That just goes to show how much they care about their patients and clients. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
