We adopted our sweet boy Frisco here in December 2006.

Frisco was our friend and companion for 13 wonderful years. We adopted him when my son was 4, and he was my son's best buddy. Frisco slept with him and followed him around the house, always wanting (and getting) a chin scratch or a snuggle.

Frisco passed away at 13 1/2 years old on December 04, 2019. If love was the cure he would have lived forever. We love him so much and miss him terribly.

I originally wrote this review when Frisco was alive and healthy, saying, "I am very impressed with the quality and durability of this cat. Other than the usual feline vomiting, he has been a fine companion and we look forward to many more years together."

Turns out, the time we had left with Frisco wasn't enough. No amount of time would have been.

Rest in peace, buddy. We love you.

I just wanted to share my experience. What an amazing group of people they have working here, when my Rottweilers got out of the fence the officer played fetch to get them back into the yard when he could have just taken them in and charged us a fee. They showed such care, even though our breed is considered dangerous. And when I called, they were friendly and polite. I don't know how they do what they do everyday, but I am very grateful.

I have contributed hundreds of dollars of treats and food--they barely thank me when I show up and I can't contact them directly.

In my opinion Ciji is a disgrace to our dogs and cats and receives a handsome salary.

Many months ago I went to the Rockdale County Board of Commissions to complain--they listened for the 3 minutes that I was given to speak and said nothing and did nothing.

I am told about a couple of animals that were dropped off--a couple of days later they had already been euthanized.

I contribute to Hart County Animal Services who has called and thanked me--and even sent me lots of necklaces with paw prints, etc.

Rockdale Animal Rescue is in need if many things to care for the animals: I can't even contact.

They are very friendly and easy to talk to. They set out traps to catch nuisance dogs on Monday's and Wednesdays. They don't leave traps out over the weekend. Call early to get on the list for a trap.

Adopted our newest family member from here this week! I've never been in a cleaner animal establishment than here! The staff was amazing as well!!

Why would you block someone who has adequate information on shady rescues ! You should be ashamed of yourself for allowing shady rescues to pull from Rockdale County !

Never judge an agency by it's preconceived reputation. I lost my dog while moving out of Georgia. So I took to FB for help the page was dedicated to pets lost in Rockdale and surrounding counties. Citizens began seeing my baby in a particular part of town. I was so distraught because people assume instantly that he is vicious just because of his breed. A Rockdale county animal services employee was tagged in the post in the comments. They took action on a Sunday and retrieved my baby and contacted me on messenger to let me know he was in their facility. I was able to make arrangements to have him picked up and brought to me in Florida. Everyone kept telling me how Rockdale would not give him back to me and would most likely euthanize him because of his breed. They did the total opposite and took a great deal of anguish and heartache away from this situation. Words cannot begin to express my gratitude!!! THANK YOU ALL!!
