A competent and respectable vet service operating in San Rafael. It is commonplace that vet appointments are often very difficult to arrange in a timely matter which is not the case with this Vet Clinic. They were relatively quick to get us seen and the clinic is clean and pretty and well organized. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and willing to educate as well as treat. The only problem I have with this clinic is a problem I have with the entire vet business as a whole: for a relatively simple visit I was charged steeply. It's so expensive just to be seen.

Maybe I'm wrong but I miss the days when vets tried to save their customers money by avoiding unnecessary half measures and all the nickel and dime extras that you couldn't dream would be on the bill at any point during the visit.

But this is definitely a great vet service and I recommend them.

Love this vet office, always amazing! They did an amazing job on this guy removing his right kidney and tumor surrounding the kidney. He has bounced back amazingly!

Wonderful staff. The founder of this hospital is regularly there even after 40 years of service.
I've never felt overcharged and the folks here are just decent and honest.
I can't imagine taking my pets anywhere else in the area.

Kind and caring staff. They seem to really love what they do! People who bring their ‘other’ family members in for an appointment always have a smile on their face. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting for both humans and fur people.

I took in my 2 furbabies Milo and Jennie today for a neuter and spay. Staff was extremely helpful , friendly, knowledgeable.
Time was taken to explain procedure and post care. I highly recommend coming to a family feeling office to take care of your little critter

Just moved back to SF and needed a closer Vet since I don’t have a car anymore. I sent San Rafael Animal Hospital a message through the portal/website and they were very quick to email all of Jameson’s records over to me so I could review for accuracy and forward them to her new vet.

I really appreciate the speedy and friendly front office staff, and sincerely appreciate the detailed notes taken by both the technician who checked us in, as well as the vet who saw Jameson. It’s been so long since we’ve been there that I forgot how well they listened and investigated our concerns, and offered the best options they could while being mindful of what we could afford at the time. It’s obvious how much these ladies care for our babies and love what they do. Thank you!

I wish we lived closer to SRAH. Would be worth the drive to go back here for her medical needs if I had a way to get her there.
