The BEST vet! I have been seeing Dr Kerry for about 20 years. She has always given my babies amazing care and has been there for us from puppy/kittenhood until it was time to say goodbye. I am so grateful for Sandy Paws.

Took my long-haired chihuahua here yesterday for his rabies booster and an exam. The receptionist and all the staff were super nice and kind to me, going above and beyond over the phone to answer a question, not knowing if I even intended to make an appointment. They seem really organized and the office and rooms are beautiful and spa-like. Dr. Rafuse is so informative and compassionate, as well as really thoughtful, and she was really gentle with my tiny dog. She took notes on the things I said and answered all my questions honestly and with understanding, as well as providing helpful reccomendations for now and the future. I was happy to hear that she readily performs titers for various vaccines when needed, and was interested and open to hearing about the homecooking I do and homeopathic remedy I planned to use following our Rabies vaccine. A bonus is that they use the thimerosal-free Rabies shot made by Merial. Overall, I highly recommend this Vet if you live in the area! We’ve seen Dr. Cords before in the past at a different office and he was also very helpful and kind to us in a difficult time.

All my animals go to Dr Cords at Sandy Paws and have for years. My two dogs are rescues and have a myriad of lingering issues. Thankfully Dr Cords is smart, patient, observant and super responsive to the needs of my babies and of me too. He’s incredibly thoughtful and patient with my pups, one of which can be problematic…although as soon as he gives her a treat all is forgiven. ?
Staff is also great and the new office is stunning! Highly recommend!
