I can’t put into words how amazing this place is. Everyone was over the top caring, loving , supportive of Summer. They treated her like a princess and she enjoyed every minute of it. The vet doctor and staff explained everything to me, and took care of Summer. I highly recommend this place. Their passion definitely brought much needed light into my world today, and Summer too. For that I thank them!

So I want to start by saying the front desk staff and every other vet we've met there was always incredibly nice and a pleasure to work with.

However, we will not be coming back due to an experience with a Chris Kurtz there that was incredibly apathetic and rude. We had taken both our cats there for several years for checkups and various things and had them on a loose diet because they were both classified as overweight when we first got there and had been trending downward since. The doctor we had the displeasure of working with today immediately quotes one of them as morbidly obese, says that my large cat breed should be half his weight, and frankly tried to treat us like we were idiots.

I don't claim to have the knowledge of going to school for animal medicine but we were taken aback. Yet every vet I have ever brought my cat to has told me he was a larger breed. In none of the previous visits to this specific establishment was that ever brought up in such a way when they were heavier than they are now. When we questioned why this is the first time were being told this is some kind of dire issue. This individual acted incredibly dismissive with things like "Well I hadn't seen him" (even though he has before) and "I don't know what you want me to say" when his assessment was incredibly inconsistent with all the previous vet visits we had at this establishment.

That made it sound like he didn't backup the word of his own co-workers and blankly stared at us as we were expressing some frustration with an inconsistent experience we have paid good money for to have the knowledge and direction we need for our animals.

Honestly he was the most apathetic, strangely rude and inconsiderate person I've ever had the displeasure of being in the same room with. And insisted on telling me my pet was fully blind when that was evideny not the case at all. We are never coming back.

Called at 2:30 and was told I could show up as a walk-in before 3. (They close at 5pm). Arrived at 3 and sat as instructed in my car for about 1.5 hours without hearing anything. Called and asked what the deal was. Still had “1” person in front of me. Waited another several minutes with nothing happening. As I drove off, they decided to call to tell me they were ready for me. I decided to turn around and then I sat in a room for another 15-20 minutes and had 2 different people pop their head in saying they’d have a doctor right in, who never came. Needless to say, they were NOT ready for me. After 1 hour and 45 minutes, I got up and walked out. Glad I sat and wasted almost 2 hours when my dog really needed to be seen. Why not just tell your customers you are too backed up to see them? You could’ve told me on the phone before I drove 20 minutes to your location. Instead they’d prefer to waste your time and theirs, having you sit for 2 hours, knowing they don’t have time, and without telling you in the beginning it’s going to be over 2 hours. All they say is, “you can wait inside or in your car”. Is business hurting so bad you need the extra money and choose not to be transparent about how slow or backed up you are? Figure it out. 0/5. Idk anyone who just wants to waste 2 hours of their day. Maybe you should go eat at a restaurant while you’re hungry and sit for 2 hours while the host keeps telling you they have a server on the way when they don’t.

The lady who assisted us didn't seem like wanted to help us at all. No matter how bad your day is, you gotta be professional and not look like you don't want us to be there. Those type of people makes us patients doesn't wanna go back there. We came in there with a smile and good mood and we came out aggravated because of how she treated us.

I have been using Scenic Veterinary for a few years and have never had a bad experience. They are affordable, caring and treat you and your pet like family. My pets treat any veterinarian like the antichrist and we have had experiences at other places that make us feel like they are a burden or like there is something we have done to cause this. At Scenic they are sensitive, understanding and accommodating to this. Ten out of ten highly recommend.

I have been going to scenic hills vet for over 20 years. As of late, the staff has changed for the worse! I stayed in line for 15 minutes while being ignored by the staff. I advised the lady that I have an appointment. She told me to wait. Then she asked me if my cat had any health issues. I said yes, it's in her chart. The girl snapped at me. I said do you mean; is she having any new symptoms? The girl said yes! I was thinking.. GEEZ try to communicate better , please. The staff today was lazy, rude and very unprofessional towards me and the other customers. They acted like they didn't want to be at work. I hope this doesn't become a trend with the Hospital. Hopefully, the bad staff will be weeded out soon. Fingers crossed ?

Yesterday I took my beloved pet to be put down due to illness. The experience was awful for both me and especially my pet. There was no compassion . I had to ask for something to lay her on and the held her down like a rabid animal causing her more stress. They only give one injection instead of a tranquilizer to calm your pet. Just one with what I was told was both an anesthesia and the med to stop her heart. Told she would know and feel nothing..it was over in a matter of minutes..eyes opened and tongue out.. be prepared. They need to realize they could do much better in the process. I will never subject my animals to such a lack of compassion for an animal to be treated this way.

Solid vet care in my long time experience with this vet clinic.
They've always treated my families cats and dogs with kindness and expert care.
They've unfortunately been through putting to rest at least 4 family dogs due to old age and 1 from cancer over the years. Every single time, it was handled with love and care towards the animal and the family. Which is so important in a time of extreme grief. I have truly appreciated them for their kindness and treatment of our beloved best friends.
