A Heartfelt Thank You to Dr. Mattu and the SoCal K9 Team

There are no words to express how grateful we are to Dr. Mattu and the entire SoCal K9 team. Our sweet Frenchie, Sky, was in unimaginable pain due to pyometra, and we felt completely helpless. After visiting several vets who couldn’t or wouldn’t help, Dr. Mattu was the only one who truly listened, cared, and took action.

As college students, we explained that we couldn’t afford the surgery she desperately needed, but Dr. Mattu and his team showed us nothing but empathy and understanding. Thanks to his generosity, skill, and the grace of God, he performed the surgery that saved Sky’s life.

Sky is now recovering beautifully, and it’s all thanks to SoCal K9. The follow-up care, including complementary fluids and check-ins, brought me to tears. It’s rare to find a team that goes so far above and beyond for both pets and their owners.

To the SoCal K9 staff and management: you are all amazing. Your kindness and support meant everything to us during such a difficult time. We will always recommend your clinic to everyone we know.

Dr. Mattu, you are not just a veterinarian—you are a hero. Thank you for saving our little Sky and giving us hope when we needed it most.

I took my 3 year old cat here for his very first vet visit/appointment and I'm very happy with how they treated him and I. This is the closest vet near me and it makes the car ride less stressful. Very friendly staff and cute dogs are a regular occurrence. I'm also very happy with the pricing and I definitely recommend taking your cat to the vet as soon as possible because it's way less stressful. Five stars and beyond! 🤩🥰🐈‍⬛

Wonderful overall. Only thing is it can take longer than expected to be in and out of there sometimes, but that’s ok considering the customer service, positive atmosphere and awesome staff (and if you don’t have patience you shouldn’t have pets!). Thank you for your kindness, great pricing and the text appt reminder system anddd being good about picking up the phone whenever I’ve tried calling in. I appreciate how you’re really good about answering questions, adding services on the spot, even emailing prescriptions — can’t ask for more. You all have been sweet, patient, caring and responsive 🙂 Highly recommend. This place has my trust.

Ever since we started going to SoCal K9 we’ve had the best experience. The techs are amazing the dr’s love all our babies but specially frijolito has gotten so much love by everyone and I couldn’t be more grateful.
