Our dogs came to SFPC years ago and just recently came back this year from another corporate run vet clinic. My little guy Peyton was quoted almost 2k for dental work and extractions at the previous clinic. We were quoted much less for the same work and Dr. Nance even saved more of his teeth that the other place wanted to take out. She didn’t shame me for the poor state of his mouth and was very informative and compassionate. Her staff is always vivacious and sweet to me and everyone who walks in the door. Recently my girl Roxy was diagnosed with arthritis and Dr. Nance was very thorough and still very compassionate despite me being a puddle of tears when she told me. She gave me the best outlook on the rest of my “sexy senior’s” life and her telling me it’s “not the quantity but the quality of life that’s important” really helped put things into perspective. Even more recently, Roxy needed diagnostic tests for thirst and frequent urination and everything was explained to me before, during, and after her appointment. Dr. Nance spoke to me personally to voice her concerns and reasons for wanting to do further testing. She loves her patients as her own fur babies and so does her staff. My pups have a name at this office and aren’t just a number. The grooming dept is fantastic as well. They took
Peyton from overgrown mountain man to distinguished gentleman with just a haircut! Surely if we could have our babies covered under our own health insurance a lot of these negative reviews about prices wouldn’t be up here. It’s clear that some of these folks never read their doctor bills in their entirety past what their copay is. It’s also clear that some of these angry reviews don’t read the policies because I know I’m gonna be charged a $7 disposal fee. It’s not that serious. Biohazard waste pickup isn’t free. I suggest getting pet insurance to help cover the costs. If I drop my babies off at 9am, I’m gonna call by at least 1 or 2 if I haven’t heard from them just to get an update. Offices get busy and it’s also the pet parent’s responsibility to check in if you haven’t heard from them before they close. Those folks wanna get home to their families and fur babies too. Be proactive in the care of your pets. In any case, I would recommend SFPC to anyone on the southside who loves their fur baby. Dr. Nance and her wonderful staff definitely hold a special place in my heart for caring for Roxy and Peyton in the most genuine and sincere ways!

Had a great experience. They worked with my schedule and got me in and out quickly. Very kind and welcoming staff. I could tell everyone there loves animals. Took my new cat in and the price of vet care was very reasonable. Already made another appointment for my dog's checkup.

My fur baby had an accident jumping onto the stairs. Came here to get x-ray to see if she was ok. Found out she broke her paw ? ? ?. Doctor & staff members reassured me that everything was going to be ok. They took my baby to the back and got her all better. Professional & attentive to your pets needs. I appreciate you all. I have brought my two dogs here their check up and their shots and I have no concerns on that end.

What I do have a concern with and what the one stars is for is because we were given incorrect information about trimming services. We were charged the price of $82 per dog for grooming services when we were quoted over the phone twice for $44 for a trim (not a full cut) and a nail grinding. The fact that y’all don’t stand by what was told over the phone when the appointment is set is bad business. Then the nerve to offer a free nail grinding and teeth cleaning the next visit why would ever bring our dogs there again to get a grooming from you so you got off without acknowledging your wrong doing. The hair cut isn’t even worth $82. If the groomers have different pricing then your staff answering the phone should be aware of this and be providing correct information. It’s borderline fraud.

One of the worst experiences. They will nickel & dime you to death.
Please check your invoice for charges & fees you didn't authorize, ask for, or receive. Three times I had to ask about certain line items & have them removed.
I'm always wary of certain business practices and I just cannot trust a business so petty or desperate. It shows that they do not respect their clients.

Also, this place doesn't allow much grace or consideration for customer's time and will look for any & every opportunity to up-charge you. They will leverage your pets health to get you to pay more; a manipulation tactic.
The vet talks really fast, cuts off the customer while talking, and doesn't listen very well. I think she's overbooked the way she rushes.

The techs were good, they helped and explained everything fine, the Doctor has a decent staff, so clearly there is poor leadership.

Since moving to Atlanta 3 years ago, Ralphie has been seen for vaccines, surgery, allergy treatment, check-ups etc at South Fulton Pet Care. Staff is diligent, knowledgeable and hands on.

I was looking for a last minute appointment for my cat before the Holidays and South Fulton Pet Care was able to accommodate me; however, I had to cancel at the last minute and I was rescheduled. I missed that appointment and they happily rescheduled me again. I mention this because of how accommodating, flexible and friendly the staff were. When I finally got my cat in, she was seen on time. The staff I encountered were all very friendly and informative. I was given a summary of my cat's health and recommendations for follow-up care.

The staff was very nice, I took my puppy frenchie up there and was told she had parvo, I got a quote of well over a thousand $, I took her home and she didn’t have parvo but a stomach virus of some sort. antibiotics and vet dog food fixed. I went back for a follow up and was told 150.00 plus 7.00 for using a glove! But follow-ups don’t charge an office visit. It was obvious that they’re all about getting as much money possible out of us dog parents. I’m stuck on 7.00$ for one pair of gloves! A box is 5.00$ . If you have lots of money to spend then this is the vet for you. If your on a budget then your going to find another vet! This isn’t that!
