We’re so happy to have found this practice! Several years ago I moved my elderly parents and their dog to CT from CA. Their dog was older and having some issues breathing on and off that previous vets in CA were dismissive of/couldn’t figure out. We brought Quincy to Spring Glen and had a great experience with the vet. It was a friendly, efficient appointment with a referral to Central Animal Hospital for what ended up being a correct diagnosis by Spring Glen that needed surgical intervention. Spring Glen didn’t even charge us for that visit!

Years later, after Covid, we welcomed another dog to the family. If you remember how many families got dogs during that time and how it created an extreme demand on vet offices we were prepared for a long wait and hard time finding a vet taking new patients for Pip. Despite Quincy passing years before and therefore not being active patients anymore, Spring Glen welcomed us back despite the insanely full schedule.

It’s now been a couple years and we have zero complaints. Dr. Mags is so thorough and informative while being chatty and friendly. They’re upfront and fair with billing and do a great job of explaining the pros/cons of anything discussed. Spring Glen reminds us of our favorite vet from decades ago in CA before they got bought out by one of the big franchises 🙁 Welcoming, informative, and fair.

This was my puppy's first visit here, and we could not have been happier with the experience. Dr. Mags is very personable, thorough, and explains everything in detail. He was great with Archie, really good bedside manner. The staff were also friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I are so glad we chose to switch to Spring Glen after less than stellar experiences at the previous place. We know Archie will be in good hands going forward. Honestly, this is the best Veterinarian I have found in CT. It is 100% apparent that this practice cares and is very knowledgeable about our pets' needs. For as long as I have pets and reside in CT, I will be bringing them here. A+, no one better, Spring Glen FTW.

Dr Mags.and his team has been really great with both my dogs. Dr Mags always does his due diligence to understand and explain when anything is going on with our dogs, and guides us with the best course of action. One of my rescue dog had tested with heartworm disease which was extremely scary for us. Dr Mags reassured us that since it had been detected early, we can treat it. And after 10 long months of treatment, my dog tested negative for it, for which we are so grateful. I also like that I can text the clinic and they respond to my messages whether it is to ask for appointments or any concerns. It helps when I am busy at work and don’t have to wait on the phone. We’ve been with them through the pandemic and they handled the situation truly well. The technician would pickup and drop off our dogs to our car. Even during vaccinations, it’s nice to see how they reassure and try to calm the dogs. Despite being so busy, Kayla always greets with a smile and a quick chat. Spring Glen has been our vet for the last 4 years and we trust them to have our dog’s best interests at heart.

I just started at this vet last week. I had been watching a small bump on my dog's leg. My previous vet was pretty nonchalant and often didn't remember us. I had planned to start with Spring Glen and get the second opinion during her annual after the holidays. However, it got a little funny for the second time so I decided to get an appointment. Dr Mags was super informative and strait forward, the processed it in just 2 business dayS. We went in last F, he took the sample, told us it was cancerous on Tu, we got into a specialist on Th, and scheduled her surgery for just a few weeks away this morning (F). Luck is a factor with these things of course, but there is no way we would have landed this swift path forward in just ONE WEEK without Dr Mags and the team. I feel like I understand what's happening, from the science to the pricing. Kayla even let me cry on the phone, I was very sad at first. I would go so far to say they have taken care of me too!

Spring Glen Veterinary Clinic is the best! I have a pet who is terrified of the Vet so not easy to treat. Dr. Mags gives the best care. Kayla and the rest of staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone is very patient with my girl. Highly recommend.

We were facing an extremely scary situation with our pup and wanted a second opinion. Not only did SGV get him in early the next day, but they also accommodated us when additional X-rays were requested by our surgeon. I pray that no one else has to experience such stress about their pet, but it made things easier knowing the team at spring glen vet would go out of their way to make things work in a pinch. They even stayed a bit past closing to ensure our fur baby had his medications before closing for the long weekend. In a world where it can feel like everything is transactional, it felt like a breath of fresh air to meet a team that truly works for the love of animals. Thank you for showing us (& Finn) compassion and care during a difficult week!
