Dr. Gilabert was extremely kind and professional in handling the euthanasia of my dog, Tony. She prepared me for the gentle transition which would occur as I held my dog on my lap and gave me lots of time to say that final goodbye. She and her assistant left us with a lovely candle and a sweet remembrance of Tony until his ashes come back.

Dr. Gilabert made the worst day so much easier. I had my Jack, a rescue, for 10 years. It was such a hard decision to make to let him go. I didn’t realize how much I needed to talk and have her confirm it was time. She and her assistant were so quiet, respectful and gentle with my little boy. I highly recommend their in-home services to anyone who has to make that decision for their pet.

Doctor Gilbert was incredibly kind, empathetic and professional with helping our 12 year old 100 pound Irish Wolfhound mix peacefully pass away. Grace failed quickly her final week , and when we were at our most vulnerable , Doctor Gilbert gave us strength. Highly recommend St. Francis Pet Hospice , and choosing them to come to your home to perform their services.

My precious 17 y/o Chihuahua had been refusing to eat a few days before I called Dr Gilabert. I went to his regular vet that day and told me that he’s not going to get better and was ready to inject him right there and then. I got out of there crying and texted Dr Gilabert. She answered right away and we mutually set a day for her to come. She made herself available when I had questions and was even willing to talk if I needed someone to talk to. I got to spend 2 more days with my dog. When the day came, she and an assistant made a dreadful event bearable. They took their time, talked to us, gave us time to be with my dog. It didn’t feel like we just met them that day. She was the perfect doctor to assist my dog to cross the rainbow bridge inside the perfect place where Luigi would want to be when he leaves — at his home with his family. They even willingly brought the flowers I sent when they carried Luigi with them. Thank you Dr. Gilabert!

Saying goodbye to a pet is heartbreaking but Dr Catherine Gilabert was very kind and thoughtful to both my sweet dog and me. She appeared to take her cues from me and made us both as comfortable as possible. I can’t thank her enough for her empathy and kindness.

Dr. Gilabert and her assistant were so incredibly kind and gentle with our Mika at the most difficult time. Everything they did was first class. She was also returned to us in a lovely and loving package. At such an awful time in your life, it is just a little easier to do in the privacy of your own home than in a cold and sterile veterinary office. I would highly recommend this service to anyone.

I used St.Francis pet hospice to euthanize my Great Pyrenees. Dr. Gilbert was extremely kind and compassionate. Her method was very caring. I would definitely recommend St. Francis to my friends and family.
