I have been going to the Sunnyside vet clinic for a few years now, and I just wanted to post and tell everyone how amazing they are! From Dr. Neild, to the staff, to the office ladies, everyone has been phenomenal! One thing I know about animals is that they tell you whether or not they trust the people around them. My dog is very hesitant of other people, but every time I pull into the parking lot at Sunnyside vet clinic she is so anxious to get out of the vehicle and get inside! Her tail wags so much that I think it might fall off! ? I know from the minute we go through those doors, she is surrounded by people who love and truly care about animals! They love her just as much as I do. ❤️ I’m very particular about who I let interact with my sweet Bella, but I never worry about anyone at the clinic! They’re are the most compassionate and kind group of people and I know without a doubt they have my dog’s best interests at heart! ? It is a little disappointing that when I go to pick her up, she doesn’t want to go with me and wants to stay instead, but we’re working on that and I’ll get over it!!! ? I’m just so grateful there is someone in town that I can trust completely with my little Bella!! We love Sunnyside Very Clinic and ALL the staff members!!! ?

We brought our cat in for an assessment as he wasn’t feeling good and wasn’t eating. I immediately felt like the Vet wasn’t listening to me as the cat owner. They held my cat down with a towel to examine him even after I told them I could help the refused to allow me. Then when the vet couldn’t see in my cats mouth he just gave up. I went over and pet my cat nicely and stuck my finger in his mouth which he let me and do so the vet could see his teeth. Even know my cat wasn’t eating they sent my cat home without any diagnosis or testing and set up a Monday appointment. So my cat would have went all weekend without eating. I took oden to the vet in Shelley and they were on top of and noticed immediately that something wrong.

Great clinic. Treated our cat's stomatitis. The Doctor and the entire staff were very nice and they kept us well informed. They appeared to be very knowledgeable about stomatitis and they were upfront about success rates and very reasonable with their pricing. They are also coordinating with our local vet (we live 2 hrs away) about prescription refills and follow up issues.

Let me tell you about why I love Sunnyside Veterinary Clinic. Several years ago, my Golden Retriever had been bitten by a dog during our evening walk. There were several gashes and a massive amount of blood loss from several lesions in his throat. My dog needed to be RUSHED to the vet ASAP. I was trying to find the 24/7 emergency vet (because of course this happened AFTER regular business hours...) and I saw a sign that said "Vet" and immediately pulled into the parking lot... but in my panicked state I had gone to the wrong clinic!!! Even worse I had pulled in a full hour after the Sunnyside Veterinary Clinic had closed. Dr. Mike Nield was walking out of the clinic and headed home for the day. I leaned out the car window and explained the emergency hoping he could direct me to the location of the 24/7 clinic. Instead Dr. Mike calmly walked back and unlocked the front door, reopened the office, and examined my dog immediately. He even stayed late to perform the surgery. Words can not express my gratitude for that kindness. He also did not charge me an "emergency exam fee" or an "after hours emergency rate" and billed me at his regular office rate-- which saved me at least several hundred dollars. I would give that man my kidney if he needed it. He truly is the best vet in Idaho Falls! I will never take my dogs anywhere else.
