Talega animal hospital is a horror story vet. They care more about their bill than your pet. Let me tell you about their shady anctions.

Their attempt at sleight of hand to upsell me on treatment resulted in my dog getting a vaccine that it just received 4 months ago. I brought my dog to receive 4 injections to get them to date. They came back with a bill for 5 injections + 5 additional services I nor the vet brought up! After 3 iterations, I agreed to the bill and missed one one extra vaccine they sneaked in and never mentioned during the visit. So they didn’t check THEIR RECORDS that showed she didn’t need it. Like I said, they care more about the bill than the treatment. This is literally criminal. Imagine if it was a treatment that could have been harmful. Avoid this place at all costs.

Took my boy here today for the first time and they’re just awesome at this vet!! We will definitely be staying with them. And I really liked the doctors knowledge of bulldogs (not many know about those types of dogs). Everyone was super friendly and super helpful being that we can’t go inside with the pets right now. Last night was my first time visiting Tallega Animal Hospital. A dog I had recently rescued from San Bernardino shelter, had severe kennel cough. Dr. Snyder was amazing to work with. She made the process easy and affordable. It was a very positive experience, during a not so positive situation.

Prior to this visit, I was very loyal to another local vet, who I have come to realize, was not operating in my pets best interest. I am so happy that I found Talega Animal Hospital. This is my official new vet for all my pets needs.

Mr. Wilson went in for an Exam with Dr. Wood, she was awesome! She listened to our concerns and talked about options giving us more info, and not pushing on doing everything all at once!
We all enjoyed our visit! The hospital was clean and staff was personable!

Our cocker spaniel Brandon, had a large lump on his neck, and when he scratched his neck it would bleed. And his teeth needed a good cleaning. Our regular vet was retiring, so we found talega animal hospital, thank God we did!! Doctor Wood at the Talega animal hospital, did surgery removing the lump, and cleaned, removed some teeth. Dr Wood is by far the best vet Dr I've ever seen!!! Friendly, very personable, highly educated, and explains, and knows exactly what to do. Our Brandon is now 100% healthy and normal.THANK YOU DR WOOD!!!. GO to Talega animal hospital, and see DR WOOD, you will not be sorry!! Tom Robb.

We've been taking our dog here since she was a pup, and they've always taken good care of her and have shown her the same love we would. She recently had a minor surgery here, and all went well. They delivered expectations well, and did a good job of communicating during and after. As far as we can tell, she's recovering well and they took good care of her. Would recommend if you're looking for a vet!

Highly recommend this hospital. They are friendly, professional and I've known Dr. Whipple for over 20 years. He's very experienced and the education he provided to us about our pet was invaluable.The standard and quality of care is very good. I appreciate the ways all the staff interacted with us, our pet and all the precautions to keep the environment safe for all.

We took our new great dane puppy in today. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They took great care of him and he seemed comfortable and at ease throughout the entire appointment.
They took their time to explain everything to me and patiently answered all my questions. We had a great experience and felt that our puppy got a very good and thorough examination. Based on todays visit, I would definitely recommend them for your pets medical needs.
