I tried seeing Amber as she’s the new local mental health provider and I did not feel listened to in any appointment with her. I told her my medication history and what hasn’t worked, and she would turn around and try to prescribe those same meds. She also had to ask every appointment which meds I’ve tried in the past which was a waste of time. Furthermore, any time I went to pick up my prescriptions, turns out she’d prescribe an additional three things she never mentioned in the appointment. Every. Time. Lastly, when I suggested trying no meds, she prescribed MORE meds. Exactly the opposite of what I wanted. I don’t know if she’s newly licensed, doesn’t care, or what the problem is but it’s some of the worse care I’ve received from any provider.

Honestly I can't complain about the care I received. However, I have plenty to complain about the business end. I had a couple of visits back early this year, the claims with my insurance were filed incorrectly and they basically say the problem is with the insurance, not them. We have been going back and forth with them trying to get this straightened out but so far to no avail. The people in the insurance filing department basically have refused to admit that the error is on their part and instead blame the insurance.

I'm putting 3 stars only because the front desk Lady (Robin) was very rude today. My nurse Melissa was great! But Robin needs to realize that if she is working a front desk. Common decency and being polite is usually a must. My boyfriend was with me and she asked when I was there last. I looked at him for the answer cuz I couldn't remember the day. He answered. She through her hands up and said "ok, who's the patient here" It was just very rude.

So rude. Would never go there again or recommend anyone else to either. First while waiting in the waiting room the gave an old lady on Medicaid a hard time for not having her insurance card. Then when she was called back continued to discuss how irresponsible she was because she didn't have her card with her. Then when I was called back the nurse was super rude because I didn't make an appointment in advance. Then failed my drug test because after holding it for almost an hour I couldn't pee right away. Not only was it a terrible experience it also affected my ability to get a high paying job I had waited months to get an interview for. Catty, rude, and extremely unprofessional.

Today my family owes Dr Poose & Nurse Mary A HUGE THANK YOU ! They have always been amazing in helping my mother Judy in her in all her complex medical journeys. They have been the best support system for her advancing alzheimer's & COPD . She now has memory care medications, oxygen, and inhalers that are helping her so much. We are so greatful for all the hard work, dedication, and most off all the caring staff. THANK YOU BOTH
Forbalways understanding listening and fixing some of the issues and burdens that pop up along the way !

I am new together when was seen by Dr poos and the never asked for any drug allergies etc after I had told them that I did have a long list of drug allergies I have asthma I have been prescribed the same medications for the last 11 years this doctor today refused to fill my prescriptions for rescue inhaler rescue nebulizer solution and another inhaler that I took in the morning so at this point I would never recommend anyone go here I'm going to be reporting him to the insurance company and I'm going to get an attorney at this point seeing as this is very unethical and if something were to happen and I did not have a rescue inhaler or a rescue solution it will mean death for me

I will never go back. The front desk lady robin was extremely rude. Also, whenever I got done with my physical and I went to turn my papers in to the other woman at the window, she happened to walk behind her and very rudely says “ what do you want”. I’ve honestly never met someone so plain rude in my life.
