What a wild ride it has been for the last few years! We went to a vet clinic and saw three of their vets who could not correctly diagnose lung cancer in a dog that lost his leg to cancer and had a cough? So, we chose The fancy five star google rated Animal Oasis only to get kicked out when we reported not being happy that they missed a lump on my youngest. Finally we came across, Dr. Chad Stewart he did an amazing job and even though they are far to close to another dog trainer we are glad we found him. If your dog is a little on the wild side go see Dr Stewart.

They can always get me in and have called me back to check in on whichever of our creatures is the patient that day.
We have taken our dogs, reptiles and hamsters there.

My elderly mother had a rescue dog and I am now in charge of it since my mother is in memory care. We don’t know a lot of history of the dog, but the Animal Doctor has been amazing. Recently she lost a tooth and got an infection. I didn’t want to put the dog through a huge surgery if it might not live long since it was an arthritic looking old dog. They said it’s up to me, but they thought she would have some time and it would be helpful for her if we chose to do the surgery. It was life-changing for this 4 pound dog who had stopped eating due to gum/mouth pain. She had 18 teeth removed. (1st photo is before surgery)

A week after her surgery, she developed an abscess, (2nd photo) which could happen, and they got her right in and on antibiotics immediately. It’s like we have a new dog! (Remaining videos and photos with her 95 year old owner - toothless but eating and so happy again!) A new lease on life which is so important because each day I bring the dog to my mother who is now 95, it is so healing for them both!

The appointment was at 9am. At 9:03 the assistant took my dog to the exam room to ask some questions. Then she took my Pomeranian to the back room for a checkup. In about 10mins the Vet, Liz came back with the little and explained what they found, said all was going well gave her a new cone and we were on our way home. Everyone was very friendly, caring and professional!!

Don't trust these people with your pet! If something happens, they won't care! They'll lie and act like they weren't responsible! And then COMPLETELY DISAPPEAR with ZERO communication! These people caused my dog, my BEST FRIEND, to get sick and die! They will LIE on their reviews and say they'll be in touch. THERE WAS NEVER A WORD FROM THEM! They simply DO NOT CARE. Do NOT trust them!!!!!
They will also DELETE reviews! They don't want you to know what a terrible business they are!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!

We are traveling from NC with our 11 year old Labrador and of course she had a problem with her anal glands !
The Animal Doctor clinic was able to see her a few hours after I called for an appointment . The vet tech and vet were thorough in their evaluation of her and got her comfortable again.
She is on Dasuquin for joints and she despises it even though it’s a great product . The vet recommended another product and she loves it .
If we lived in the area this clinic would be our go to !

Thanks so much.

I have been to many vets and Dr. Stewart is without a doubt the kindest one I have ever met. He was professional and patient in explaining every test that he wanted to proceed with in order to identify the source of my cat’s eye irritation.

I called in the morning to set up the appointment and The Animal Doctor front desk receptionist was so kind and able to fit us in the same day! Upon arriving I called to check in and there wasn’t a long wait time in the car. The tech and Doctor were quick to visit our exam room but took the time to speak with me, no part of our visit was rushed.

My favorite part of our visit was that Dr. Stewart talked to my cat exactly how I do to mine, in a very upbeat and cheery tone. He directly called my cat by name several times making my little buddy comfortable. The front desk said he talks to each pet as he would his own. You can tell he genuinely cares about his work and the pets that he sees.

Thank you to Dr. Stewart and the staff for helping my buddy Ash with his eye infection! We will be back for our annual check ups with all of our pets.

I wouldn’t recommend them for a small mammal vet. Can’t speak for other exotics or cats and dogs.

I am giving 3 stars as although the advice given was bad and dangerous, the staff were kind, I liked the location, and the price was affordable.

I brought my hamster here to just check on her eye as I adopted her with only one eye. I was given advice that you give to Guinea pigs. Guinea pigs and hamsters are clearly different animals so this is concerning.

I was told to take her off of her hamster specific food which has lots of nuts and seeds and put her on a nice pellet food with hay as the first ingredient. I was told my hamster would get too fat.

This information is incorrect and dangerous and I would expect an exotics vet who charged me $70 for a 15 min appointment to know better. Hay provides no nutritional value to hamsters and nuts and seeds should make up a large percentage of the diet.

They also told me she looks like a baby Syrian hamster. She is definitely not. It has been 6 months since this appointment and she is still tiny, as she is a dwarf hamster.
