I had to bring my kitten in, and they got me in the day off and took such amazing care of him, you can tell the staff really enjoys their line of work! Will definitely continue coming here, and would recommend them over and over to anyone on the search for a great cat vet.

Compassionate, fair, ethical, and empathetic. These are not words I use lightly and hardly words to be cast around at just any business out there today. Certainly not other veterinary clinics who see your pet as dollar signs not as a living being.

We’ve seen several doctors here, and each is just as fair and generous as the next. Each looking out for your financial wellbeing as well as the health and welfare of your cat! It’s rare to find a clinic specializing in cats. It’s even more rare though, to find an office full of individuals who are pleasant and working together as a team for YOU and advocating for your pet. From the nurses to the front office staff to the doctors, everyone giving 100% as well as being genuinely sympathetic to your situation and the needs of your pet.

Our poor kitty has not long to live we recently found out, and I went from crying endlessly to feeling like there’s hope. I’ve witnessed a patients come in to put their pet down and the entire office responded in kind to help these poor people with their loss. Absolutely amazing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else with my cats!
*** Side note: this place is a cat sanctuary. The art, the foods and supplies, they even put calming mystic, speak in calm voices, and out cat calming pheromones on the mats on the tables and diffused throughout the building. It’s a MUCH more calming experience taking your cat in!

Dr Bucholtz and her staff are by far the BEST Veterinary care my cat has ever received ! The office is solely for felines. Dr. Is. Very knowledgeable about cat health and the issues they can have. I could tell from my first visit that this is the only place I will take my Kitty to. She handled our Kitty so gently that he allowed her to examine him without flinching! She has deep knowledge about the condition my Kitty has. Since seeing her, my cat is flourishing. I highly recommend The Cat Doctor. Her staff is fantastic!

I took my senior cat in for an exam today, and in the past, with other vets, each visit was a nightmare--for both of us. This visit was the complete opposite. My Salty (cat) was treated with such care and respect for his "threshold." The process of the exam was explained as it happened, which was helpful. I recommend The Cat Doctor for any cat, but especially those cats that have a difficult time with regular vet clinics that have dogs (the smells, barking, etc.). Thank for to the wonderful staff for such an amazing visit! (The fact he was able to get out of his carrier and look around speaks volumes!! See pics.)

What an amazing place for kitties! I took both my cats, Salem and Mona, to visit Dr. Ikeler and was so happy with their treatment and care. I love that this place focuses just on cats and they really set their offices up to be calming for the kitties. Everyone was so friendly and kind to the kitties and I'm so grateful to have found a vet I can trust.

They were great with my kitty. A previous vet told me my kitty needed to be sedated before any future visits. So I called The Cat Doctor with full disclosure and said I thought she deserved another chance before going the sedation route. By being gentle, quiet, slow and distracting with some meat tubes they were able to do the full exam and give two vaccines with no restraint required. I was very impressed and we definitely found our vet.

From the moment I walked through the doors with my Annie I felt at ease. It was very clean, quiet and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr B is by far the best Veterinarian I have ever met. I am so grateful for her daily updates on Annie’s condition and her gentleness with my beloved kitty. I've been to The Cat doctor and saw Dr. Buchholtz now 3 times, with my two kitties. One is best described as very "spicy" while the other is very sweet, but also scared or shy. The team at The Cat Doctor is ALL great! But I must highlight Dr. B for being even BEYOND GREAT. She handled and examined my boys with such care and understanding while being very thorough. She took the time to explain and address ALL my questions or concerns. Furthermore, she did it in a way that made me aware that she not only cares for the kitties, but us, the owners as well. The facility is incredible, perfect mix of nice and professional, yet calm and quiet which helped a lot for my boys. I could really go on and on about how great my experience was and how thankful I am for the whole team at The Cat Doctor. Thank you all once again!!!
