I switched over from the Caldwell Veterinary Hospital due to
Living in Boise and I am so happy that I did! I was able to get my cat an appointment pretty soon after I booked online.

The Vet that I spoke to was amazing and so kind and friendly. She even normalized my emotions when I started getting upset by some of the news. She did a very thorough assessment of my cat and seemed very genuine. I really recommend this place! I’ve only been there once so far but they have exceeded my expectations just on the first visit. They also gave my cat a free catnip ball at the first visit 🙂

The doctors and assistants are always on time for appointments. They are very good with my kitties. I appreciate the pet plans since i have multiple cats. My very vocal orange senior has arthritis and gets monthly shots. We both appreciate that we know we’ll be in and out at appointment time without extra waiting.

As always, Dr Biel and the techs are stellar. Dr Biel is patient and incredibly empathetic with both me and my cat. And the techs are so gentle and kind with my old girl. What an amazing team!

We have been taking our cat(s) to the Cat Dr. for quite few years and we have been extremely happy with every aspect of their care. For example the veterinarians gave us another 2 years with my little buddy and told me when it was time to let him go, something I needed to hear because that decision is always hard when we love our cats. All the veterinarians and staff are professional and compassionate and we highly recommend the Cat Doctor

We took our cat to this place for a check up and we told that a majority of her back teeth needed to come out which is fine, that’s not what I had the problem with. We showed up 15 minutes early as instructed to fill out paperwork. After paperwork we were put in the back room for the next 30 minutes. Our appointment time was at 1130 and no one came in until just after 12. The exam took less than 2 minutes and then the vet told us to hang out in the room till someone came and got us. Another lady came in and basically just wanted money and then walked us out. I received the quote for the procedure and it was what I felt was outrageous. So I had it quoted at three other clinics. For perspective this place was just shy of 3k. The highest other quote was 600 for the same procedure and treatment. I understand that they can charge whatever they want and that’s fine but overall experience seemed to be just a big grab for money.
That being said, everyone was pretty nice and that’s the reason for the second star. I caution you to quote procedures at multiple clinics before going with these guys.

I rescued my cat about a year and a half ago and finally needed to take her in for a Wellness exam and shots. After asking around I picked the cat doctor and I’m so glad that I did. The cat doctors’ staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They were very helpful in making myself and my cat comfortable with this new experience. My cat needed to have some dental work done and they were very thoughtful in explaining everything. They made sure that I had an estimate up front. I was really impressed with them and was glad to learn that the initial estimate was not only accurate but about half of what I thought I was going to end up paying. As someone who was nervous picking a vet, this could not have been a better experience, and I would highly recommend them!

Our little man Rocket found us as a stray.
We took him to The Cat Doctor to be evaluated and look for a chip in case his original humans were missing him.
The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, sincerely kind, and we are looking forward to years of his care at The Cat Doctor.

I'm so glad my friend told me about this place! They play soft classical music in the room, there's plenty of treats for distraction during nail trimming and treatment, I appreciated the care that the Veterinarian gave my kitty, she was very responsive to my concerns. I have a cat under 1 year of age and they have a payment program for everything cats need during the 1st year. The staff are kind, and my kitten was relaxed the entire visit.
