Shortly after this appointment, i was billed for the session, having been clearly told beforehand by the vet we saw that it was a free service for registered patients. I questioned this and the charge was (rather reluctantly) dropped. Shortly after this however an email was sent out to patients saying the Nutritionist would now be a chargeable service.
This was disorganised and unprofessional and i was made to feel i was trying to get free treatment for my dog instead of paying. The mix-up over whether the session was free or not took place at the Reception desk, in full hearing of other owners and was really embarrasing, as i was questioned about why i thought i didn't have to pay.
Below is my original review, which was 4 stars.

This appointment was with the nutritionist and went really well. This is a free service which is much appreciated. The nutritionist was very knowledgable, helpful, thorough and patient (especially as my dog was hardly on her best behaviour!) Plenty time allowed and next appointment booked. Couldn't have gone better.

A reassuring and fantastic experience. Highly skilled staff, from reception, to vet nurses, to triage, to medical to surgeons and all the others. Well laid out reception with sepperate animal areas, good parking, 24 hour support, excellent facilities. Highly recommended for all pet needs.

Excellent vets but really need to be allowing people in with there dogs and not treating some dogs in the carpark, bars night clubs , festivals all happening and I'm sitting wondering what's happening with my dogs as I'm sitting in the carpark while they are being examined and as good as the vets are the dogs cant answer questions they might have so come on Edinburgh University lets get back to normal ?
