Amazing place for exotic pets! They are really caring and thorough. My bunny Ruby needed a spay and they took the time to explain all that was entailed to surgery and aftercare. They gave me an estimate beforehand. After the spay surgery, Veterinarian Roxanne called me to let me know how it went and everything I was going to see on Ruby incision wise, what diet she needed to follow (liquid diet), the pain and probiotics medications she needed to take. She Doctor Roxanne explained everything over the phone and the Veterinary nurse also explained when I went to pick Ruby up. They had Ruby in recovery for a few hours to ensure she had no complications. The next couple of days at home, she started to eat on her own and drink water on her own, showing me that the level of care they provided at the Village Animal Clinic is the best care provided from when you walk through their doors and when you leave the clinic. I wouldn't hesitate to come back for care of Ruby or any other pet I had. I would recommend it to anybody!

The staff is amazing—so kind, sweet, and attentive. A special shoutout to all the wonderful vet doctors—my dog Phoebe absolutely loves them! They remember every little detail about her and are always on top of her care. Their personal touch and genuine love for animals make all the difference.

I completely trust them with Phoebe and wouldn’t go anywhere else. If you’re looking for a vet clinic in or around the Albany area, Village Animal Clinic is hands down one of the best. Highly, highly recommend!

We moved upstate four years ago and had a hard time getting into a new vet. We have been going to one that we didn’t love and recently stumbled upon The Village Animal Clinic on a google search. They came with very high reviews and we strongly agree. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Their online website and booking capabilities is very user friendly and so convenient for a working animal parent. I was able to get everything situated for the first appointment through text which was so helpful. We have a rescue that is very timid at the vet and has a hard time with new people in that setting. They were so welcoming, encouraging and compassionate. From the front desk team to the vet and the vet tech. Everything was done in front of us and was one of the best vet experiences we have encountered. Their compassion and love for the animal and their well being is very evident through the entire process. Being able to pay inside the exam room was the icing on the cake as that is usually difficult with our easily excitable lab mix. We can’t say enough and look forward to developing more of a relationship with this vet office.

I cannot say enough good about The Village Animal Clinic. My case a little more unique involving a cockatiel and needing an avian veterinarian. They knew what to test for and based on constantly evolving research and their knowledge via continuing education of the latest findings, they knew how to treat my neurologically impaired bird. Koko bird is in full remission since the end of October and had a gold star check up last week. The staff is so kind and always prompt as far as response to calls or texts.

As always, this Vet office is a pleasure to go to. I’ve brought generations of dogs here, first with Holly Cheevers and later with newer vets, and from the people at the desk to the techs and vets, have had great experiences. We switched after we moved and found that other vets offices didn’t compare- they put their breed specific stereotypes on our dogs, and it affected their care. I would rather drive 40 minutes to this office, knowing I can call with questions or issues, and they will treat my dogs with care, compassion, and confidence. They are the best by far.
