The best hospital to take your pet if your pet needs medical attention. They care and love your pet. I took my doberman to Thomson McDuffie Animal Hospital after his clinic that he has been going to refuse him because he didn't have an appointment for his emergency. Thomson McDuffie Animal Hospital saved my doberman life! He turned 11 years old while in the hospital, and the nurse also had the same birthday as my doberman, so she shared her cupcake with him so sweet and caring! Yes, if you love your pets, bring them to Thomson McDuffie Animal Hospital for the best care!

The staff here are amazing. They’ve taken great care of my boy Duke who needed dental surgery. Dr. Reese met with me and explained everything. When he speaks to you, you can tell he really cares about your pet. I only wish I lived closer so he could be my everyday vet.

I moved out of state a few years ago and just wasn't happy with the care my fur babies were getting in our new town. My little old man Jasper was going in for a dental cleaning and extractions and the Doctor found another issue that needed to be addressed. He explained what needed to be done and why. The care Jasper got was outstanding. The entire staff is outstanding! Knowing my fur babies are in excellent hands makes the drive well worth it.

Overall this is a good office but there were a couple of things that bothered me.
My husband called for the initial appointment but I was the one that went in with our pet. Apparently the information that my husband gave was different than what I said because after I talked to the tech I could hear her talking about how she thought I was lying through the door. I’ve worked in customer service and understand how people can make you feel but maybe say it where the person you’re talking about can’t hear you. The doors are not sound proof lol
The second instance was when we boarded our pet with them and when we went to pick her up they informed us that they had been trying to contact us but no one answered. Initially they succeeded in the guilt tripping but turns out they had the wrong number on file.
I’ve since moved states away so I will no longer be using their services but I do think they share a lot of compassion for the animals and maybe the stuff I experienced was them having a bad day.

The staff vet techs are really good at their jobs and seem to genuinely care. Dr. Jones is one of the best vets I have ever encountered.

The technician that owns the clinic is interested in one thing...taking as much money as possible, while he has the opportunity to do so. He comes into the exam room, before any actual clinical staff,
to work the pet's family and determine what he can get away with. I feel he is manipulating the veterinarians to go along with his cruelty.

Dr. Jones should have her own clinic and not be associated with this evil, cruel person.
