Thank you very much for fitting our sick lil’ Raven girl into your jammed packed schedule this morning. Your entire staff was helpful, professional, efficient, and most of all, caring. We got there without an appointment hoping to be seen after our lab was sick all night throwing up and you made it happen. She’s already much better and on the road to recovery. She’s sound asleep after a rough morning. I would strongly recommend your Vet Hospital to anyone.

Dr. Tannler & Kate/Cate did an amazing job making my Shiba feel very welcomed at our first time visit. They were patient, kind and very thorough during her health certificate consolation, and even when I forgot to have my dog fast for her blood work they remained completely professional and made sure that my dog’s FAVN test for Hawaii was completed thoroughly.

Dr. Tannler also gave me a personal phone call herself to notify me that her blood work was acceptable which I thought maybe her assistant would have done, but for her to do that herself shows speaks on how much she cares for her patients!!

Kudos to the scheduling staff Emily as she was able to book me in quickly, and she was also very prompt on the email communication which I expected maybe a day response between emails.

Yes the pricing for this Health Certificate and FAVN test for the Hawaii checklist may be pricey, but for one of the only locations that does it in San Diego this visit was worth every cent.

I'm a new dog owner to my puppy Archer. Archer has been going to TPAH since the day after I brought him home and he and I are so happy to have found this place as our vet. I debated between here and another vet office nearby, but when I called both places for information, TPAH gave me so much peace of mind and relevant information. Jennifer was the one that answered my first call and was so helpful with questions I had when choosing a vet and questions I had in general about their practice. Archer has seen Dr. Sophie Steele for all but 1 visit where he saw Dr. Tannler after Archer had an accident. I love that TPAH is open 7 days a week and does see urgent visits. Above all else, I appreciate and love the staff! Jennifer and Dara at the front desk are so kind and friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Sophie Steele is so patient with the endless questions I have as a nervous first time puppy owner. She's super knowledgeable and always gives Archer and I her undivided attention. Dr. Tannler is so kind and friendly and also knowledgeable, so I can only imagine the whole panel of vets are phenomenal and you can't go wrong with who you see. David, Emily and other vet techs whose names are escaping me have always been friendly, patient, and caring for any concerns, no matter how small. I've called the office so many times about the littlest things and they never make me feel bad about my concerns and encourage me to call if I ever need anything!

This is the best vet in San Diego by far! We've been going there for 2 years and seen a couple of different vets, and every single one has been kind and knowledgeable. No matter the issue, they handle it professionally and make you feel reassured through the whole process. I've recommended many friends to come here and I will keep doing so. My pup has had pretty major surgery here and they have handled it perfectly and my pup was completely recovered within a week and is back to her usual self. I can't recommend them enough!!

Dr. Vora at TPAH is absolutely incredible. The most thorough veterinarian I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is so attentive to our dog, has worked with us back and forth on trying to troubleshoot a difficult issue with his skin, and takes the time to update me even from her personal weekend hours. Cannot recommend her enough.

Incredible place. From reception to the doctors 5 stars all around. I loved coming here and so did my pup if that is even possible! They were always upfront and not pushy about care options more importantly they always had my dogs best interests in mind. We sadly had to leave due to relocating to Hawaii which I have to add they were immensely helpful getting me started with the arduous process. If we come back to the area this is place!

Absolutely unacceptable service from this practice. We've been going to them for about 10 months, but that was a mistake on our part.

These guys will make you wait over an hour even though you have a scheduled appointment, and will take over a week to approve prescription medication. Their online pharmacy is just as bad: 1) we ordered a bottle of apoquel (100 pills dosed at 3.6mg), but the order defaults to being auto-shipped every week without providing you the ability to update or opt out of it (who needs 100 pills sent each week?) until after the order is placed; 2) delivery time is advertised as 2 days, but this is complete bull since it's taking more than 2 weeks for the meds to arrive.

In an effort to have them understand the urgency of our situation and need for the meds ASAP, I shared images of our dog's paws, which have gotten raw from his constant licking due to an allergic reaction. It's gotten so bad that he's having difficulty walking on grass.

I was hoping they would work with us and send the meds out from their office or the post office (which is literally next to their office) since the shipment from their online pharmacy is taking too long, but they responded with a generic "I'm sorry" and instead offered to have the meds called in to a Costco that's 40 minutes away from where our dog is boarding. This aggravated me because 1) just send the meds out from your office like I requested; 2) why did you wait this long to give this option; 3) you obviously don't share the same sense of urgency.
