I went on a Sunday morning. My dog had what looked like an infected wound under her front leg. Turned out to be a hotspot that I had overlooked and wasn’t as bad as it first seemed after they cleaned it up. They gave her some antibiotics to take home. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It is expensive. But it is nice to be able to get reliable 24/7 care when your vet is not available. I was worried but feel so much better now after having her treated.

I brought my dog here after she was hit by a car. It cost me an arm and a leg but do to their quick thinking my dog survived a lung collapse—huge Thanks to Joel and the lab techs. You are doing the lords work. Maybe buy more lactate tester, though 😉

Very kind and compassionate about our emergency visit at midnight on a Sunday. They were honest with me about my cat's condition, let me stay for a bit while they did some tests so I could leave with a bit more information, and assured me they would do their best for her. They were able to give me a very detailed quote as well. After I left, they called maybe an hour later to let me know she had improved, so I was able to get some sleep and be a bit less anxious. They made a terrifying experience as easy as they were able and I am grateful for that.
My kitty made it home with me and is still doing fine; I'm sure that would not be true if it had not been for their quick care.

If I could give this place a zero star I would. I have been to Tri-County many times for myself and with friends for different reasons and tonight I took a friend of mine there with her cat. They did absolutely nothing for her and told her that she would be better off to take her to the vet in the morning. The cat has a mass in her stomach region that is protruding and they did nothing. They told her that her money would be better spent at the vet in the morning. They told her that they didn’t have the resources to find out what was wrong with her cat. I’m sorry, but I thought that an emergency clinic was just that an emergency clinic. I am very disappointed in this place no wonder it only has two stars.

I had taken in feral kittens and bottled fed and raised them to be tamed and loveable. The cats are growing and doing good. But today Feb, 8th 2025, I noticed one of the cats not feeling good. I checked him over and saw he had white gums. I knew it mean anemic. My daughter works for a vet and was helping me by telling me what to do for him. He was eating and drinking then later in the day he stopped eating and drinking. So I gave him water thru a string and fed him baby food on a syringe. Just trying to keep him going until Monday so I can take him to the vet. I was worried he wouldn't make it and decided to take him to tricounty emergency vet. I get there and the gal let me in. Asked me what was going on? I explained to her everything. I told her I am trying to keep him going until Monday so I can get him into my vet. After I told her I don't have the funds but asked if they could take him in? She said no. I said but I don't want him to lay there and just die. She said, 161.00 we can euthanize and u can take him home. Never again. I wish someone would close this place down. I find it neglect on there part. 🥺

About a week ago, our dog Siri suddenly collapsed, experienced dizziness, and lost strength. The vet examined her and prescribed medication for a possible infection. She’s doing much better now. In a few days, she will be going to the U of I Animal Clinic for a checkup and an MRI. We greatly appreciate your support.

I had brought in a ‘stray’ because her eye was busted up, we found her IN my backyard , like a few days ago. it had been the first time that has ever happened.
We brought her in today 1/1/24. To see maybe she can get taken careful and they can find her owner. well the first girl was a sweet heart! But the second one was not kind at all( she has glasses, red hair in a ponytail, basically bald headed, covered in tattoos and wore glasses) she was rude from the get go.I heard her snapping at other pet owners at well. i gave it 2 stars 1 one for being open in new years and too because of the first girl.
