Dr Zollars and his team of caring professionals go above and beyond for you and your family pet. You both are Treated with Courtesy and Love from the minute you walk right through the door. Dr Zollars takes his time the Old Fashioned Way and explains everything to you in the care and treatment of your pet. 5 Star Rating. I have been with them as a hound mom for over 10 years.

Quick context: Last January, I lost my 15-year-old cat after a long illness. He was my best friend. I was devastated and so was his partner in crime, Pinky, my now-12-year-old kitty. We got two kittens to keep Pinky company, and she bonded with them and now treats them like her babies. However, she recently gave us a scare. Thursday morning, my husband and I woke up to bloody vomit in the bedroom and about 1/4 cup of blood with bits of vomit on the kitchen floor. The only other time I saw blood in vomit was when my old cat had to be put down. Seeing blood threw me into a spiral and we had to find a vet immediately. Tri County was able to get Pinky in the same day on priority basis. Dr. Zollars examined Pinky and drew blood. To my shock, he said that if we hadn't told him Pinky had been vomiting blood, he would have assumed she was a very healthy cat. She was hydrated, had no palpable internal problems, and showed no visible signs of anemia or internal bleeding. He sent her back home with us and told us we would receive a call with lab results the next day. This whole time, I was crying like a maniac and assuming we were there to have Pinky euthanized. I hadn't even processed that blood could be anything but fatal. Dr. Zollars explained that even infections can cause bleeding, and this can be startling, but that Pinky did not appear critically ill. She only had a mild fever, so he gave her an antibiotic injection and sent her home with us. The next day, we received a call that her bloodwork was fine and she appeared very healthy for a cat her age. She did have markers of a possible parasitic infection, so we have to bring in a stool sample next week. While I am trying to manage my anxiety over this (what kind of parasite? Is she going to survive? Do all our cats have the infection?), I cannot overstate how appreciative I am that Dr. Zollars so quickly attended to us and cared for Pinky. He was also patient with me as I stood there crying, thinking my cat was about to die, even though he could have been dismissive or irritated at my emotionality. He seemed understanding that to non-vets, this was terrifying, and that people truly do feel their pets are family. I am hopeful and cautiously optimistic about Pinky's recovery, and I have confidence that Dr. Zollars will also be able to treat our other two kitties, who probably have the same infection. I'm just hoping the infection isn't fatal, but this worst-case scenario thinking is related to losing my last cat and remembering how hard that was. Today, I'm grateful to have Pinky home with us. She's been perfectly fine since Thursday, and is spending her day today watching the birds and lying in the sunshine. Thank you so much for taking good care of my baby girl!

I have a senior dog with a variety of health issues that require attention somewhat often, and this team takes such lovely care of her. The front desk ladies are always super helpful and kind, the techs and assistants are always so gentle with my Gracie and Dr. Zollars is always ready to educate me and help me understand how to take care of my dog in her old age and the problems that arise. I also appreciate everyone there for being so patient with frantic me worrying about my dog every visit as well as my anxious old lady. A lovely crew that cares for your animals as well as you!

I took my very stubborn beagle here Monday for a possible back injury. Dr Zollar was extremely patient with him, even using a trick to distract him so he could give him his medicine shot! The assistant and front desk staff were amazing as well, taking the time to listen to all my concerns. They were also very understanding when my dog decided to pee on their desk. Chewie says thank you because he is feeling so much better!
