Disgusting and very unprofessional. 1st of all they treated me as if the way I was feeling was a joke. The driver kept asking for forgiveness for how long his day was. He also didn't hesitate to keep mentioning how he couldn't wait to get to the bar. I swear to you he already had alcohol on his breath. If anything ever happens to someone in their care, I wouldn't want that on my conscience. I wish I had the strength to drive myself to the hospital. They made me feel like a burden, that was wasting their time.

Following a head on collision Trinity Health of NE EMS were the respondents. The EMS experience was horrible. I explained I couldn't feel my legs and that my stomach hurt so bad that it felt like I was having contractions. They made me get out of my vehicle and walk to the gurney. Once in the ambulance my legs became heavy and numb and I was unable to move them and they did not even check my abdomen. We took what felt like every back road to Waterbury Hospital. When we arrived at the hospital they gave report to the triage nurse very casually and with no emergency despite me stating multiple times I felt like i was bleeding on this inside and I couldn't move my legs. Apparently it was close to end of shift as they explained they needed the stretcher back but there were no rooms available. They again made me lift my legs one by one to transfer to a wheel chair. Because they did not report this as a collision with trauma the hospital did not address my injuries appropriately. I blame the ems responder for his lack of professionalism and care. It was evident by his terrible bed side manner and ability to report that he is either brand new or doesn't care. I should also mention they did not put my neck in a collar following the accident. Overall a horrible experience.
