Amazing, kind, caring, brilliant people here. My squirrel had a brain injury from her first few months of life. I rescued and rehabed her. She began having seizures so she became my world for a year and a half. My Gracie had my whole heart. I brought her here for a cat scan and it was very bad. Heartbreakingly she did not come home with me. But, the staff here were absolutely wonderful. So kind to me. So gentle and sympathetic. They even sent me a card and the most beautiful little Gracie paw prints in clay. I am blown away by their kindness. In this terrible time of loss the gift they sent meant the world to me. They did everything they could to help her. And they have also helped me. I will never forget the kindness they’ve shown me. What a phenomenal place this is! Thank you all so very much ❤️?️

Wow! The doctors, the nurses the students were just amazing. We came in with our pregnant dog having complications and stress out. The whole team was able to make it a little bit easier and worked with us and showed our precious Luna so much care. They really took care of her with the highest regards and they were very communicative when it came to things they wanted and needed and care for her just a wonderful place and I’m so thankful for the whole team that was involved with Luna. They saved her life and I’m so grateful for them

I can't thank UF Small Animal Hospital enough for saving my dog, Rambo's, life. The entire team demonstrated not only incredible expertise but also genuine empathy throughout the entire process. They were thorough in explaining every step of Rambo's treatment, providing me with comfort and confidence during such a stressful time. Their professionalism and deep knowledge truly stood out, and I was also pleasantly surprised by the reasonable pricing for such high-quality care. I would NEVER reccomend my WORST ENEMY to come here, and if you truly care about your fur baby, you should not step FOOT IN THIS PLACE. I was told by one of the RECEPTIONIST to bring my dog back into the ER the following evening due to the fact that we had already been at the ER for almost 5 hours, and one of my family members had an appointment to get to as we didn't expect the visit here to be that long. I was told when we brought him back in that we'd be able to see an ONCOLOGIST for my baby's AGRESSIVE CANCER that he had a poor prognosis of. Well, we drove over an hour to get to Gainesville to see Oncology, and they tell us they cannot call Oncology because this does not look like an EMERGENCY CASE? DESPITE RECEPTION LITERALLY TELLING US TO BRING IN OUR BABY THE FOLLOWING EVENING. Wow... words can't describe how unhappy I am, and after spending thousands of dollars with them, they take my money, and slap me in the face with it. Then they wanted to tell me the only way I could see oncology is if I give them ANOTHER "$2500" to hospitalize my baby, and he could POSSIBLY see Oncology in the morning? Uh uh. I don't think so! I will be having a conversation with whoever oversees the Receptionist desk, and you all should be ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!! DO NOT BRING YOUR BABY HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM! IF YOUR NOT TALKING $$$, THEY AIN'T TALKING CARE.

In the beginning, they were very nice and seem to be concerned what was going on and that was all fine. They said the test results for my cat would take a week and I believe it took almost 3 weeks to hear back from them with the test results. Then I did as the doctor said to take my cat in to test for a UTI to make sure everything was OK before we would do a scope. I got it done as soon as possible and the next day after I went to my vet to do the test I called the doctor leaving a message telling about the uti results and said we need to do the scope. That was the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Didn’t hear from them for a week so I left left another message. They said that my first message got lost because it was a holiday week and things get lost something with the computer. I have no clue, and I’ve never heard anything like that before in my life. So they said, don’t worry they’ll get back to you now. Fine it’s now a week And I just left another message and they said that they will call again today. Should I hold my breath? I am stuck between a rock and a hard place because that is the only hospital that has a scope small enough for my cat. Believe me if there was any place else I would have gone there are already. I expressed my concern and they said that I can bring my cat in if I was that concerned. I’m three hours away.

When my Dusky-Headed Conure Calliope needed an emergency toe amputation due to a severe bite wound from one of my other birds, the entire team was everything I could ever hope for from an ER visit. Dr. Diaz, the DVM who did her initial exam, was so caring and gentle. He made sure that she was comfortable when she had to stay overnight, as well as making sure the whole procedure including diagnostics was within my budget. Dr. Walker, who actually performed the procedure, made sure to speak with me face to face when I picked her up that afternoon. Thank you UF ZooMed for taking such amazing care of my precious girl!!!

A few days after welcoming two pups into our family, they both started acting very odd and, after a trip to our family vet, we were told they had parvo. Sadly, we lost one that morning at our vet and immediately rushed the other to UF Small Animal Hospital for the advanced care she would need if there was any chance of survival. The team there was very loving and attentive to our precious Zoie and after a week and a lot of prayers, she was back home with us! We continued medications at home for a few weeks but she made a full recovery and is all smiles now!!
