Amazing for the following reasons and experience I highly recommend if your having a pet emergency.

1. Very friendly and accommodating
2. Transparent with costs upfront
3. Followed up to check on my dog

Brought my dog in because he was acting abnormally for him and there was some bloating of his stomach. I was hoping to be told that it was nothing pay for the exam fee and go home. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, they took some x-rays and found that my dog had GDV. They asked me what I wanted to do, we proceeded with the surgery, they stayed 4 hours late to complete the surgery and got me all set up at a 24 hour facility for post-op observation. My Dog is alive and back at home and I couldn't be more thankfull

My 6yr old Doberman mix was having trouble walking Monday night. By Tuesday morning she couldn’t even stand up on her own. I called immediately once they opened and spoke to Emma. She was completely transparent - told me the cost of the visit and estimated cost of x-rays. When I arrived she was so kind and got us into a room as soon as possible. Dr. Glover came to examine Nala and I swear he is a dog whisperer. He just radiated care and compassion. Nala and I immediately felt at ease. I asked him a ton of - probably silly questions - but he answered every one of them and helped me understand what might be going on with her. He provided extremely detailed notes and recommendations. Even printed information for me to take home and read. Marlene and Gabby also helped with the x-rays and explained Nala’s medications. Everyone there was 100% professional and some of the nicest people I have ever met.

Please understand that emergency vet care is not going to be cheap. But it’s something anyone who brings a fur baby into their home should be prepared for. If you want someone to charge you $50 for a visit and throw you some pain meds without identifying the cause, you might be able to find someone willing to do that. It wouldn’t solve your dog’s health issue though and would most likely prolong it or make it worse. I’m so glad I chose Uintah Pet ER. I’m hopeful that we never have to go again (for obvious reasons), but if it’s necessary, I will go here every time.

AMAZING customer service. It felt like the doctor genuinely cared about making sure our cat was okay and they were VERY transparent with pricing, which I appreciate SO much. If you didn’t want to choose a certain route of treatment due to pricing, there was no judgement or pressure from the doctor or staff. At the same time they communicated what the options were throughout the visit, leaving the final decision to me. The pricing is high but nothing more than any other emergency vet. It’s a scary time if you need to take a pet to an emergency vet and they made it feel so much better. I hope I don’t need to come back but I feel good about having the Uintah Pet Emergency in my back pocket. Definitely recommend!

Can’t speak highly enough about Uintah Pet Emergency and its staff. The circumstances of a pet ER visit are stressful to say the least. From the start, the staff was calm, cool, collected and sympathetic to the situation. Well trained, attentive and caring, Uintah Pet Emergency went out of their way to look after our three fury extended family members to the highest possible standard. After the emergency had been attended to, they also ensured costs were fair and manageable. Uintah Pet Emergency Is the only pet ER I will be seeing in the event of another emergency.

So to start I wanted to say that my 10 month old Aussie that I took here has had water intoxication before. So I was very aware of the signs, My Aussie pup, started exhibiting symptoms 30 minutes after she chugged a ton of water. I drove here and as soon as we got to the vet there was a Vet Tech or Nurse that asked the issue. I let her know what was going on. Then my puppy threw up clear water on the floor, which was a good thing because at least she was getting some of the extra water out. I let the vet tech know that my Aussie needs labs done just to check her electrolytes to confirm the water intoxication and then she needs fluids to replenish and correct her electrolytes. This vet tech was so rude saying she had never heard of this condition. My friend that was with me let her know that we are from Texas and in warmer states it’s more of an issue because dogs get hot and drink a lot more water. And the fact that my puppy has had this diagnosis confirmed on the medical records that we emailed to them upon arrival. But according to this Vet tech, it’s not a real thing. We waited 2 hours in an exam room with our puppy who was drooling and swaying because her electrolytes are all out of whack, at this point my friend and I are both concerned about pressure buildup in our puppys brain. They finally come in and my puppy can’t even walk and they tried to drag her on leash to the treatment area for an exam. I told her you’re going to have to hold her, she can’t walk. 30 minutes later the tech comes back with my puppy and says the doctor will be in shortly. Another 45 minutes go by and the Doctor finally comes in and starts to tell my friend and I that my dog has an obstruction and she needs an x ray. I told them no she does not because she didn’t eat anything that could’ve caused that, they then told me that she could’ve ingested marijuana, my friend and I both let the Vet tech know that neither of us have marijuana in the house we were staying at and that we don’t smoke. My friend and I asked for labs to be drawn to check my puppys electrolytes. The vet said okay. Then the vet tech comes in with consent forms. My Aussie puppy started growling and her hair was standing up when this tech came back in, which was really concerning because she has never done that with anyone. The consent form was estimated at $1500 because they were trying to tack on all these extra procedures for my dog. The vet tech started to drag my sick puppy who can’t even walk back to the treatment room, we told her again to carry her.My dog finally got her subcutaneous fluids and 30 minutes after she had gotten fluids she started acting normal again because her electrolytes were back to normal. As my friend and I were starting to leave, the vet tech then told us she still didn’t believe water intoxication isn’t a real thing, but that we still needed to measure her fluid intake so this doesn’t happen again. At this point I’m like what?! Is it a real thing or isn’t it. I do not recommend this vet at all.

As a critical care RN with an emergency for my fur baby, my highest commendations for both Dr. Marek Mrzyglocki and, also, his staff. Dr. Mrzyglocki met me on my level as an RN explaining everything to me succinctly and confidently. Furthermore, as I sat on the floor next to my pup, he did not tower over us, but instead, he crouched right down next to us! As a medical professional, it was daunting to release my fur baby into someone else’s hands; however, the staff seem to have a keen awareness of my state of being. As they cared for my pup, they cared for me too. Thank you for being there for both of us!

I had to bring my cat in over the weekend for an eye infection he caught from a foster kitten. Dr. Tedeschi and the vet tech were excellent, and despite how busy they were, they took the time to sit down and explain the options for treating it. I also got a follow-up call within a couple of days to check on my cat. The only not-so-great part of the experience was waiting for 2.5 to be seen by someone with no communication about where I was in line. I understand that the clinic is an emergency clinic so they have to triage, but communicating how long someone may have to wait, even if it's updates every 30 or 40 minutes, would be helpful so people can decide whether they want to continue to wait if it's a non-life threatening emergency.
